lulu was an important character, i thought her magics were very useful at the beginning, but as you play on she becomes very useless.

I have to agree Lulu became pretty useless in battle, but I liked her more

Lol well Vaan didnt really contribute to the story line, the story line wasn't really about him.

Wheras in the other games the main characters have the main story line revolves around them.

For example Final Fantasy10 , Tidus was the center of attention.
