The Killer has made his or her decision.

I shall post the outcome of Isolation at 8:30pm.

After Gemmer-x is dropped off at the Abandoned Warehouse, Gemmer-x immediately begins to feel cold. With a moment's hesitation, they summon the courage to push the doors open and cast their flashlight on the inside. Fragile wooden beams seem to be half-hearted in their efforts to support the building, and there's a sense it could all crash down in a second.

Gemmer-x wandered around the ground floor and found nothing of any importance; just sawdust and neglected tools. The rusty hacksaw made her shudder. She eventually came to a stairway and looked up. Slowly ascending the stairs, she came to another long room separated by beams and iron grids suspended from the ceiling - held by very thin ropes. Gemmer-x was rushing now and fear was beginning to overwhelm them when they stumbled over a small wooden box.

She immediately picked it up and opened it. Inside was a small plastic bag with what appeared to be strands of ginger hair in it. A small white label on the bag had one word etched.

With a sudden rush of gratitude, she ran out of the building and into the mysterious taxi nearby. "Home", she cried.

Jessica. 18-02-2010 07:34 PM

ooh

Shaun 18-02-2010 07:34 PM

Rupert, meanwhile, was sent to the abandoned hospital on the outskirts of town. Boarded-up windows and cold yellow brick made for an illuminating and haunting experience, especially now, in the dead of night.

As Rupert nervously reached for the handle, he thought he heard a shuffle behind him. He immediately ran inside and shut the door behind him. Backing away from the now blocked doorway, he turned around and saw a long hallway.

Derelict chairs and gurneys littered the halls, and as Rupert shuffled down them solemnly voices of haunting patients played in his ears. He reached the end of the hall and was greeted with a crossroads.

He went to turn left, when someone pushed him to the floor. Rupert scrambled to get up but couldn't find his attacker. He grabbed a piece of broken glass on the floor, but didn't see the Killer behind him. With a swift, brutal slash to the throat - Rupert crumpled and was left gurgling in his own blood on the floor.

R.I.P.

The next task shall start Friday 9pm.

In preparation, the group should elect a new Team Leader. However, this time, the Leader will have even more responsibility - as he or she will be taking a stab in the dark at the Killer.

There will also be an opportunity for the best Detective to win a free clue.

edit: can GypsyGoth PM me the name of the group's decision of the new Leader, please. You have until 9pm tomorrow :)

Jords 18-02-2010 07:44 PM

So the killer cant be Gary, as he is away on a trip today and the the killer pm'd Shaun sometime tonight, hmmmm.

Jessica. 18-02-2010 07:47 PM

I think Claudia should be the leader this time.

Jayson 18-02-2010 07:48 PM

I nominate Jords again or Schumacher.

How about Eoin this time and then Princess?

I really don't like leadership guys, I find it a bit stressful :)

Jords 18-02-2010 07:56 PM

Aw ok Claudia, Eoin or Princess if she comes on. :)

Niamh would be good to but being at 9pm I doubt she'll be able to make it on.

Callum 18-02-2010 08:01 PM

Ahhh well. Good luck people. Would have liked to stay in for a bit longer obviously but guess I won't be able to now.

Shaun 18-02-2010 08:18 PM
