Wow, what a show. I really enjoyed it. Aston did even better than I tought he would. He picks up the dances veey quickly.
Hope he has the jive next week. He could let loose and do some of his backflips. :dance:

Aston can really dance. He reminds me of Danny a bit. As he's also and all rounder dancer.

So my thoughts on all the celebs.

Gemma : She has potential, but she didn't wow me.
Brian : Not terrible, but not great either.
Richard : Quite frankly crap, but he makes me laugh. :laugh:
Susan : Pretty good, better than i expected.
Charlotte : Very elegant.
Simon : i didn't think much of his routine, to be honest.
Johnny : Good, but he needs to relax more.
Joe : Great, but slightly overmarked.
Davood : Very overmarked, overrated.
Mollie : Not bad, she can dance.
Ruth : Not terrible, but she was way too nervous.
Debbie : fantastic
Aston : Brilliant
Chizzy : i enjoyed her dancing. She was really bubbly.
Alexandra : Lovely waltz. I don't understand why she was marked so low.

Next week dances :

Davood and Nadya
Brian and Amy

Looks like it. But this is not confirmed.

Arrogance isn't a bad thing for the kind of show he is on anyway, I know that it could harm his vote, but to me it makes for better performances if the person is confident/arrogant.

He's very confident. Would love to see a jive from him next week. I think he would smash it.

Davood could barely move on the first dance.:joker:

Astons doing too much too early. Not good if he starts getting tens in week 4

I think he could do well, but he lacks rhytm for me. He was definetely over scored. Didn't deserve that score at all.

He won't get them at this stage. But Debbie might.

I hope neither of them get tens till at least week 6 or 7

Strictly can have a habit of overscoring though, especially Soap Stars.

why am I the only one not to think Davood was overmarked :worry:

Aston has latin, so i think he will do very well. Debbie has ballrom, so she might get the best score. Ballet dancers always dance excellent ballrom.

I don't think he has good rhytm yet. But he did well and will improve.

Yes and that's so annoying. Will be interesting to see how he copes with a fast dance like the quickstep.

I hope both of then are marked properly.

I think they were marked fairly. The only one who was over marked was Davood. He was nowhere near a 7.

Just watched clips of Aston and Jeanette reharsing their Salsa on Instagram. These two are hilarious together. :laugh2: It looks like a brilliant routine and there are lifts.

Brian and Amy were on ITT last night, apparently he came over really well, and he has the cha cha cha not a serious dance so he might be able to pull off a funny routine

He makes me Laugh, but I don't like his dancing.

oh well at least he is trying, unlike a Gregg Wallace type of contestant, which we've got in Rev Richard, who is going all out as a joke act :laugh:


Brian Always smiling being a comedy character, did do his best at a serious tango, but i think the cha cha cha, charleston, samba, salsa, jive those dances suit him better for his funny character
