I'm guessing the Timeless Child thing might be an arc? Unless it was just BS to distract the Doctor. Maybe Susan is returning :D
|
Grace to be the arc villain?
|
Just realised what the titles/music remind me of.
A Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 2005 feel for some reason. |

LOVED that episode.
The titles. The TARDIS. The Doctor, again. Spoiler: I have mixed feelings about next week- it could be brilliant but could also be handled terribly. The fact that it's Malorie Blackman writing it gives me some hope- I just feel like forcing an alien threat in there could feel tasteless. I would love a pure hitorical episode. |

But it's the first episode of the new era written by someone other than Chibnall so it shall be interesting to witness.
|
I think it was good but not amazing. I don't know if it was the directing but it dragged on a bit, it felt like there wasn't enough story to fill the runtime. But I liked it.

Bit of a weird episode this week, enjoyed it still... but there didn't seem to be much to it

Marsh your sig tho

I like that in this new series, the Doctor isn't some massive legend across all the universe like they were in Moffat's era, if this weeks episode was in Moffat's era, there'd have been some civilisation that worshiped the TARDIS and the Doctor.
|
These two episodes have, imo, been surprisingly better than Capaldis whole run :skull: I mean who actually thought Matt Lucas would make a good recurring companion :skull:
|
Just saw an interesting post on reddit, since the opening 'The World and Enough Time' last year, the Doctor's current adventure has been ongoing with no breaks.
|
I was looking at an article earlier and saw that the series 11 premiere episode was the highest rated episode since the premiere of the revival of Doctor Who, mainly due to the BARB including ratings from people watching on other platforms (computer, mobile, tablet, etc).
Rose - 10.8m viewers The Woman Who Fell To Earth - 10.9m viewers |

"I've never even heard of moomanbeans!"
Didn't pick up on this on first viewing. :joker: |
Art Malik's character was a bit easily convinced to allow a joint win.
But then again with the link to the stenza I wonder if we might see him again. Wasted on two scenes. |
