attention scotland
MO just updated warnings for Fri-Sunday - sounds like quite the snow event for a lot of Scotland even low level: "An area of heavy rain and snow over Scotland will slowly move south over the weekend, bringing further snow accumulations, firstly over high ground in the north, but increasingly to low levels through Saturday and into Sunday. A further 20 to 30 cm may fall above 200 m, with 5 to 10, perhaps locally 20 cm falling even to low levels as we move into the weekend. Strong winds could lead to significant drifting of snow and temporary blizzard conditions."

You are about 800 feet above sea level as i recall so that would be right

people who are below 400 feet will be getting rain.

Its rain in Bridge of Allan at mo yet 2 miles up the Pendrich road its battering down snow as its at 850 feet there

Crimson Dynamo 02-02-2021 04:57 PM

you will be sheltered so it will be cold for 3 or 4 days but not like it will be in UK East. The most easterly parts of Ireland will be affected more

ATTENTION LIVIA AND PARMY

YOu are going to get battered with snow on Sunday, may go to Amber warning soon

:omgno:

Crimson Dynamo 05-02-2021 04:58 PM

Amber now issued for East Anglia, Essex and Kent

"An area of widespread, persistent and occasionally heavy snow will affect parts of the southeast and east England throughout Sunday, with the potential for some significant accumulations across eastern parts of Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Kent throughout the day. Within the warning area, accumulations widely 5-10 cm are probable, with a potential for 15-20 cm in places. Very strong easterly winds with gusts around 50 mph are possible, which may lead to blizzard conditions for a time and the possibility of drifting of snow. Later on Sunday evening, the heavy snow will start to ease, with light snow potentially continuing well into Monday, adding to snowfall accumulation totals."
