Leave with no deal and then the EU will come grovelling to us.
That's what's gonna happen. |

So what's with the pissing about with the quoting system? I thought you were leaning more to the intelligent side, so to speak....and calling me a **** :fist: Then instantly editing it.....makes you a bit like one, no? Say it and take the ban, instead of being so lefty. |
Oh...and look at that..
All Kizzys posts and mine that instigate her in my accusations dissappear. ..no wonder you can't find out how to screen shot on tibb. |

Brexiters were gullible enough to believe a lot of bull**** about the EU and they claim that this is about freedom but they just want to make us turn tricks for Trump at this point. We are not in a position of power, Brexiters have marched us off the cliff and now we're looking for a bit of debris to hang on to stop us from drowning. To think that the EU will beg us to come back is just plain delusional. |

As someone from outside the UK I would like to comment on this whole mess.
The UK is like the abused housewife that has announced her intentions to divorce her bad husband but can never quite get the courage to do it. She'll only divorce if she can get the husband to agree on a good deal (custody of the children, etc.). The husband of course is not going to agree to these terms because he thinks his wife deep down is too chicken-**** and she won't leave him. And he is right. He's going to make it as difficult as possible for her. It's been 3 years already. It's time to get on with this. I'm not even from the UK and I am tired of hearing about this. If WTO is the best you can do, then so be it. If you think the EU was going to make it easy on the UK to leave, you haven't the faintest clue how this world really works. It was always going to be a messy divorce. In the short term it's probably going to be an unpleasant transition but the economy will come back. Just get it over with. If you think WTO rules are bad, ask your ancestors who lived through WW2 how bad that was. That generation had courage. They had to deal with bombs landing in their cities. And you are worried that the price of bread (or whatever) might go up a little if their is no trade deal? Get a backbone. |
