I'm not a billion percent sold on new Johnny yet, he's a bit wooden. Give him time though. He's not awful. Sam Strike was just very very good.

Sam was just very nice to look at, but this new one is quite cute as well. I'm kinda thinking the new actor fits the role of Johnny better though.

Yeah, and even then acting-wise it wasn't anything special imo.

That scene only caught attention because the Carter's were still new and everyone was still surprised over Danny Dyer playing against type and playing a softie character who accepted his gay son.

The acting/writing really wasn't anything special tbh.

Hmm, remember though, if it didn't happen between 2008–10 or 2014–16 then it didn't happen at all

It's weird but Sam Strike matched Maddy Hill better as they seemed like siblings and this new actor matches the actor who plays Lee more. :laugh:
