HND was awful though to be fair, great idea though
|
the HND is the best twist of all time in terms of concept and execution
|
In terms of concept Maybe, though I prefer the bedsit and secret garden ideas
Execution? No it isn't. The Bedsit, The Secret Garden and Two Lies twist were all far better. All HND did was bring some duds into the house. It had no dramatic effect like the others. |
I couldn't care less who the twist actually involved, the concept of designing an entire secret house is genius and the night where Aisleyne had to evict either Spiral or Jonathan remains one of the greatest twist moments of all time
They might've cottoned onto the existence of the house but no one, including her, saw it coming and her reaction was TV gold <3 Back when live specials were a thing and Big Brother was at its best, I remember it vividly :flutter: |
They all knew she they weren't going to be evicted, they knew they were moving into the hew house. It was a flop.
|
The fake evictions weren't the point of the twist, they were just the build up. The point of the twist was the last night where she had to make the real live eviction decision...and none of them saw that coming
Incredible television |
The HND was an amazing twist. It's just a shame that Jayne was the only decent occupant of it.
|
What was so great about Aisleyne making a choice? Makosi did the same in BB6.
Nothing dramatic like Fight Night or Cidergate came from it. |

Let's not forget she is the reason the whole house was up with VTE - what a mess. |
BB7 is overrated anyway - it had a great first half but after than nothing happened for weeks on end.
|
Yeah lol @ HND being the BEST twist in terms of execution.
The walls weren't even soundproofed ffs. The Bedsit was executed far better and was much more tense and compelling and it even resulted in Fight Night. Don't get me wrong though, it was still a great twist. |
Fitting really. The HND was the worst of the three golden series secret room twists - just like BB7 was the worst series of the three. :hee:
|
|
The first 5 minutes alone of the bedsit was enough to make it the best twist
|
They must have met the housemates and filmed interviews with them today for the launch night BOTS.

Actually I don't even think HND is the best in terms of concept. I personally think CBB4's non-celebrity twist is up there.

I don't care about the aftermath...I'm talking about the actual twist itself. The moment. Not what led up to it or came after it, the live special where she had to evict either Jonathan or Spiral. Incredible, tense television and Big Brother at its best Quote:
That live special is one of the best of all time. Aisleyne being called to the DR all happy and laughing, her being put on the two plasma screens and everyone screaming realising she's still there, being told that all the evictions were fake and her cheering, then being told she would have to evict someone for real, her suddenly freaking out and getting upset, Davina then evicting Jonathan, Aisleyne then returning to the main house in floods of tears <3333333 uh-mazing from start to finish |
