As Marc asked me yesterday, before the game started you were asked about what item you couldn't live without during lockdown and these were the answers

Well we asked a wonderful mod to pick one item out of that list that is the best answer or something they couldn't live without during lockdown and that person had an reward(she didn't know who said what)... that reward was being the first HOH.

That's right, the first competition was pointless and you did that for no reason at all because the hoh was already decided and they nominated two people before the launch happened.
