Only total unconditional surrender and the handover of the Ukrainian president for trial on charges of high treason against Mother Russia will do for Putin I suspect.

This is probably the last thing on a lot of people's minds, but all this makes me worry for the trees...
If it takes "cancelling" Russia for people to realise we need to move away from the kind of power they (and other terror nations) provide, it might make our governments lean toward biomass fuels, which is the burning of trees to provide power...
Should be nuclear all the way.

Russia say one thing and do the opposite in the Ukraine .. suddenly put a bid in for upcoming World Cup to shake us up .. suggestions that we are going to be the target of sustained internet cyber attacks .. now supposedly one of Putin’s big mates was apparently poisoned ?!?

It all sounds like nonsense

The governor of Ukraine's Chernihiv region says there is no let-up in attacks by Russia, despite its pledge to reduce military activity there.

The governor, Viacheslav Chaus, told the BBC that he did not believe Russia's promise.

"We've already seen that there wasn't even a single time when their military forces kept their word," he added.

Russian and Ukrainian negotiators made no "breakthroughs" in Tuesday's peace talks, the Kremlin has said.

U.S. intelligence officials have determined that Russian President Vladimir Putin is being misinformed by advisers about his military’s poor performance in Ukraine, according to the White House. The advisers are scared to tell him the truth, the intel says.

The findings, recently declassified, indicate that Putin is aware of the situation on information coming to him and there now is persistent tension between him and senior Russian military officials.

The U.S. believes Putin is being misled not only about his military’s performance but also “how the Russian economy is b eing crippled by sanctions because, again, his senior advisers are too afraid to tell him the truth,” White House communications director Kate Bedingfield said Wednesday.

Earlier, President Joe Biden said in an exchange with reporters that he could not comment on the intelligence.

Indeed... They'll likely have told him that the external stuff is fake news but as time passes and his goals have not yet been achieved, it'll be increasingly clear that they're lying.

There's also an awful lot of talk of desertion and even troops turning on officers. That's what happens when you have mandatory military service. Force 20 year old kids into uniform and sure some will be into it... But others will have no allegiance or sense of duty at all and if they see a chance to get out - and they're a young person with no responsibilities or ties - they're going to take it.

Whatever they tell him, I really doubt Putin relies entirely on (and fully trusts) his advisors' words. Doesn't he claim to spend a lot of time watching and reading all the news from everywhere?
