Russia's Putin today threatened to close down
European gas from tomorrow is states refuse

'unfriendly' states would have to pay in roubles
in retaliation for sanctions]

the United States, European Union member states,
Britain, Japan, Canada, Norway, Singapore,
South Korea, Switzerland and Ukraine]

It is his (Putin) new plan to get sanctions changed

putin is not in a position to make that demand. The contracts are in euros and if he doesnt accept payment in euro etc, he will have no money coming in at all

Especially when they can get them into those evacuation buses and then missile attack them for maximum effect.

Even the babies could grow up to be enemy combatants, just like the Red Cross are classed by Russia as enemy combatants.

If only Ukraine had surrendered from day one and accepted it is part of Mother Russia, then the death toll may not have been so high.

Anyone disagreeing and not praising Putin enough is likely to be Novochocked, you have been warned, he will do it and he has...

What's this the effect of?

Kizzy 01-04-2022 01:08 PM

The effect's of war with Ukraine felt in Russia can't be compared to the cost of living crisis in Europe... people queuing at food banks has been a common sight here for years now.

[Ukraine 'launches first airstrike on Russian territory' -
amid hopes of evacuations in Mariupol today

Up to 5,000 people have been killed in the city and 170,000
are still trapped and struggling without food, water,
or electricity, according to the mayor.]

But only the UK is doing a 54% Energy Rise

France is only making EDF do a 4% rise
As an Example

Yes the government could step in, but it's the tories, so we all know they won't (unless people are squeezed past breaking point and they have to)

There will be some Deaths
then.

someone has to pay for it at some point. The labour idea of a windfall tax on suppliers would be good if it werent for the fact that a load of suppliers have already been going out of business. So, who is going to pay for the rebates and other assistance - the tax payer. The last thing anyone needs right now is to pay more tax

Beso 01-04-2022 04:17 PM

I shall have a nice warm cell when the taxman catches up with me

The government has plenty of avenues to bring in revenue that don't involve taxing the workforce. They just don't want to use them.
