Sansa as well hasn't really changed/done anything malicious.

I agree with all except the two Starks, we really don't know anything about Rickon. He might be a little arsehole! Sansa at the beginning was a huge elitist and, despite everything, there are still definite hints of that. She's a "good" person but not necessarily always a nice / kind one. That sort of applies to all of the Stark kids to be honest, even including Jon Snow, although again he is "good" he's had his questionable and selfish moments.

The episode titles give a huge hint as to what pretty much happens the rest of the way..

"The Battle of Bastards" :worry:

Do you reckon that's just army vs army or are we going to see a literal Jon / Ramsey showdown? Because let's face it, that's only going to go one way :joker:. If it does go that way, does this mean Jon and Sansa in control of Winterfell, and so effectively the entire North, next season?

Mokka 06-06-2016 04:33 AM

just watched the opening scene and

Woke up to spoilers all over Twitter

Thanks drew :)

Mokka 06-06-2016 05:36 AM

I laughed so much in this episode... one of my favourites to date I think
Spoiler:

Sandor Clegane's return... was not expecting that
Brother Ray  ...gone too soon imo. I fell in love with him in this episode

So here for Jon Snow being the typology of Christ to the wildings/freefolk
All hail the King of the red head army :clap1:

The Queen of Thrones had the best lines this episode
"I wonder if you are the worst person I have ever met... it's so hard to remember with age" :laugh3:
also... telling Cersei she has lost... priceless

62 :laugh2:

Her for Yara getting to Daenerys first and the lesbian plot line that is sure to follow

and... Arya can't die :fist: ...but I am guessing she isn't getting back to Westros anytime soon

Don't know how to feel about that episode on the one had it was exiting and on the other hand it felt a bit incomplete I just can't put my finger on why.

Also is it just me who found it a bit weired how Sansa and John were just appearing at their destinations in the space of a scene. I'm not complaining it's just a bit odd for GOT.

Smithy 06-06-2016 05:15 PM

OMGGGG

Spoiler:

LSH

Happens in the finale!!!

The director said that GoT's seperate scenes have never lined up quite correctly, for example, in episode 1 we have the Lannisters showing up even though at the start of the episode they were still in Kings Landing. It's generally done like that for pacing reasons (it would have probably taken Sansa and Jon a whole season to go around all the houses)

Tom4784 06-06-2016 08:53 PM

Book Spoilers I guess?

Spoiler:

I swear to god, If LSH doesn't turn up after all these teases I will cut a bitch. I can't deal with another season finale that raises my hopes and then dashes them.

The episode was pretty good though. CLEGANE <3.

I like where this season is headed, the pace has definitely picked up and I hope they carry it on for the future episodes. I don't mind if it's a bit odd that Yara and Theon get to Mereen before the end of the series, make it happen. I don't care that Sansa and Jon teleported around the North we've had enough set up and it's great that we're starting to see results.

I have to admit, Arya's story has interested me for the first time in a long while. I'm guessing Jaqen's going to help her and that he was testing the Waif in some way as the Faceless men are meant to be quite above it all and unconcerned with grudges and stuff but the Waif's fixation on Arya seems to be at odds with that.

Loved having the Blackfish back again too, I do wonder that, if LSH is going to be a thing, if he knows she's 'alive'? Seeing what Cat's become would probably leave him a bit hollow which would explain how he acted as he didn't seem like he was acting out of anger or revenge.

Brother Leon 07-06-2016 12:36 AM

Yes!!!

The Hound!!

Shaun 07-06-2016 02:09 AM

Great episode.

Perched for Arya's mystery healer Syrio Forel (since every bloody other dead guy's being brought back)

Niamh. 07-06-2016 09:28 AM

When Arya got stabbed :worry: They better not kill her :fist: Great episode though

Shaun 07-06-2016 10:46 AM

It'd be a real kick in the teeth / a total pisstake tbh if they've just been having her play with this assassin storyline only for her to decide it's not for her and kill her straight away.

Future episodes spoilers:

Spoiler:

Especially since we're losing another Stark this season anyway

Whole bunch of Arya theories flocking around atm, I won't put them in spoilers because they're hardly spoilers and have no confirmation/evidence for them

Option A: The waif has never existed and the whole thing has been a "Fight Club" kind of sequence with her (literally) beating herself up and killing her own identity inside her head (supported by the scenes where she was beaten up in the streets by the waif and no one else seemed to give a toss lol)
Option B: the Arya that was stabbed was never Arya - someone found a screenshot of her walking to the bridge past someone that also strongly resembled her from behind (carrying two pails of water), and some think it was Jaqen himself who went disguised as Arya (very plausible...) to test the waif's "quick, clean kill" method, which she obviously failed since she didn't go for her throat
Option C: Arya was carrying pouches of pig's blood on her body and knew the waif would attack her body from training with her, so was completely unharmed and has now left a trail of blood to her hideout where, with her blindness experience, she can kill off the waif/Jaqen in the dark with Needle.

not sure which will happen, or if she's just genuinely ****ed  but I'd love option C.
