Would be a ****ty thing to do, it's not his fault that she disappeared for ages leaving him to run that s**thole :nono: Then again this is Dany

So tired of people complaining in this thread about plot and character development being filler... And episodes being pointless or boring...I loved this episode and practically ever episode this season. It doesn't have to be a massive scene every clip to keep my attention

Read a book people and learn to love the subtle build up to an event and not just the event itself

Well I did say Grey Worm developing a sense of humour is a big deal :hee:

Nah, i mean I do enjoy all the episodes but it's good to get some action too

Tom4784 14-06-2016 10:50 AM

I don't mind filler scenes (S1's scene between Cersei and Robert stands as one of the best GoT has ever done), I just think that, at this late stage in the game, we can't really have filler episodes.

Time is a commodity that is rapidly running out for this series. realistically we have less then 20 hours of GoT left.

Mokka 14-06-2016 10:53 AM

But it isn't filler...it's all the little reasons the big things happen. I just don't even get the filler argument at all

Smithy 14-06-2016 10:55 AM

How was them drinking in any way contributing to the overall storyline? It's not necessary, all it was was a set up for them all to be together when the Seige started, now that Dany is back I sincerely doubt either of them will be drinking again

And they need to mix that up with scenes of consequence better. Setting something up is important but you can't have whole episodes devoted to setting up future plot points. You need moments that pay off mixed in with the set up.

God forbid any one but Dany be given a backstorys, character development or personality...
Oh wait...she doesn't have personality :idc:

I enjoyed it mainly because of the Brienne/Jaime scenes
Loved the Bronn/Pod scenes and of course Arya

Getting quite bored of the KL parts at the moment

Yeah since Tyrion and Varys left KL, it's not been very interesting. I am eager to find out what Margery has got planned though

Me too :flutter:

Spoiler:

I'm quite relieved because in the leaked spoilers it said that Bronn strangled Pod and I assumed he'd died, rather than it being playful :worry: I'll put this in a spoiler in case the unlikely happens and Bronn chases that boat down or something

I agree, I miss Tywin too
Me too, I liked her scene with Olenna

Brother Leon 15-06-2016 02:06 AM

Hyped for next two episodes. This one was meh.

Jamesy 15-06-2016 05:29 PM

This series has felt quite slow on the whole, it almost feels like a filler series. Stuff has happened, although it doesn't feel like there's been much development for many characters.

I just hope they don't try and cram everything in two episodes now.

But it's boring, especially for characters that are inevitably going to die, just a waste of time

Smithy 18-06-2016 07:27 AM

Ep 9 will have 20 mins in mereen then 40 mins in the north :amazed:

Brother Leon 18-06-2016 06:26 PM

Who me have just scrapped the 20mins in Mereen. No one will give a damn about Khaleesi and her clan when Bastard Bowl is not j the horizon.

Smithy 18-06-2016 06:30 PM

Tiny spoiler

Spoiler:

the ironborn meet her

Scarlett. 19-06-2016 02:04 AM

I've been quite enjoying the Kings Landing, it's been interesting to see how much Cersei has ****ed everything up for everyone, lol.
