Had a quality start at barca to.

I just always thought he never really fulfilled his promise, especially when you consider the standard in the Serie A has dropped considerably, which may account for his goal tally over there. Sheva couldn't adjust to the change but I'm glad to hear that he's decided to rise to the challenge at Barcelona.

Yeah, 7 goals in 11 games for Barca.

Is your perfect striker on paper though.

Knows where the goal is,
Skillful,
Fast,
Strong,
Very Tall.
Can Take Free Kicks.

0-0 in the 60th minute of the Rubin Vs Barca game

Barca may make an early exit from the CL it seems

King Gizzard 04-11-2009 05:43 PM

Ibra - temperament and not a team player, although that is starting to change it seems

andyman 04-11-2009 05:45 PM

You're a mod! ... Ask admin as they should help you with this, you have changed it before but i think that was during the old forum era.

30stone 04-11-2009 05:46 PM

Yeah hes looking superb.

Saying that Drogba is in Amazing form right now to.

Barca absolutely destroying them to, 75% possesion over 45 minutes lol.
Just can hit the target, Ibrahimovic hit the post, and he took a free kick that he sneakily got to iniesta who took 1 step to far before shooting which gave the goal keeeper time to come out.

King Gizzard 04-11-2009 05:46 PM

Id have Drogba over anyone else upfront

King Gizzard 04-11-2009 05:50 PM

Reals physios have reported that Ronaldos ankle injury has showed no sign of improvement

setanta 04-11-2009 05:51 PM

It's not all about goals up front though.... I'd defo have Drogba up front - tortures defenders.

30stone 04-11-2009 05:51 PM

Edited Title.

Arsenal Team:

Almunia
Eboue - Vermaelen - Gallas - Gibbs
Fabregas - Song - Diaby
Nasri - Van Persie - Arshavin

should be okay

andyman 04-11-2009 05:51 PM

Woohoo! Thanks Sir Ben.

Liverpool will now win and build upon our great victory over the vile Gauls.

Fran Merida's agent has hinted that it would be difficult for the Arsenal starlet to turn down a move to Atletico Madrid.

The teenage midfielder has been hailed as an exciting prospect for some time and produced another example of his talent with a fine goal in the Carling Cup victory over Liverpool last week.

Merida revealed after the match that he was in talks over a new deal at Emirates Stadium, with his current contract set to expire at the end of this season.

Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of the Spaniard but reports have surfaced linking him with a move back to his homeland.

Atletico have confirmed they are keeping track of Merida's progress, with president Enrique Cerezo saying the decision could rest with the player.

Merida's representative Joseba Diaz has now indicated that his client would find the idea of joining Atletico appealing.

"We have an offer from Arsenal but Fran Merida has an 'illness', for want of a better word, and that is Atletico Madrid and you can't do anything about that," Diaz said in the Daily Mail.
why!?! Atletico are going downhill!

You should loan him to an up and coming la liga team, maybe deportivo or mallorca.

30stone 04-11-2009 05:53 PM

rubin brining on a striker they think they can win it.

But they are tired.
