Well to be honest I felt a twinge of guilt to my loved ones who during my latest diet have been subjected to having no biscuits in the house and definitely no cake. If I cant have it neither can anyone else.

Anyway I had some over-ripe bananas and after a whole day of "why dont you use those bananas up or throw them out" my hatred of throwing out food led me to give in. Its all gone now. Poor dears they were on it like vultures.

Did it look like this Busy Bee? If so can I have some it is my FAVOURITE sort of cake - drool, drool !

Mine is made with dark brown sugar and lots of sultanas so is a bit richer than yours. It also has lemon icing.

Phew, just back from my long weekend in time, I see. Spent a very enjoyable time on 'manoeuvres' at North Berwick. Weather surprisingly warm for this time of year . . . . even had a wee paddle in the sea! :laugh:
