So what are the chances of a Nancy return this year? Maddie Hill is no longer part of casualty

Very small. I don't get the impression she enjoyed much of her time there.

Great episode tonight. Feels weird to have Leo's mum suddenly blame Whitney though...last time we saw her he had her locked in his car boot!

At least we can see where he got his craziness from.

I'm enjoying how they are doing the racism storyline, rather then shove it done our throat as the big storyline they are doing it very subtle and very realistically

It started as subtle, but ever since the hospital scenes it's been extremely overblown and melodramatic.

Oates doesn't do subtle very well.

Looks like Phil will be the new owner of The Vic

reece(: 15-04-2020 07:08 PM

Not another alco going into the vic

Jigs 15-04-2020 09:25 PM

I'm here for the idea of Sharon and Phil behind the bar considering it was obvious they wanted to get Ben behind the bar to give him maximum airtime. Plus Sharon is at a loose end now and they need to reincorporate her into the show somehow.

Marsh. 15-04-2020 09:54 PM

The Vic needs new characters. Or at least, returning characters who haven't been in the show for a long while.

Phil and Sharon are more exhausted than the Carters are. Bad idea IMO.

Dont say Whitney will kill again

AnnieK 21-04-2020 07:15 PM

I've not watched for a few weeks but where has Kat gone?

Got forced to take a leave of absence after turning up on set drunk, they haven’t really given her a storyline, she just said had to go somewhere and disappeared

Ah thanks Smithy ..I knew she got suspended but didn't know how they explained it in the show.

BBC are considering asking people to quarantine together in order to resume filming as they are worried they will run out of episodes to air

I really don't get the writing around her. All they had to do was send her to stay with an offscreen character, but they decided to write a mystery around it with us not knowing who she was talking to.

I imagine maybe they planned for her to return with Alfie or Stacey and now the lockdown has pushed that further back.

What?

Denver 29-04-2020 08:58 PM

They want the actors to quarantine together

Marsh. 29-04-2020 08:59 PM

Did you read that in The Onion? What a ridiculous idea. Moving from one quarantine to another one is not quarantine.

Denver 29-04-2020 09:00 PM

The head of Drama on BBC said it actually

Marsh. 29-04-2020 09:03 PM

The show is absolute pants, it would benefit from going off air for several months and coming back refreshed.

Denver 29-04-2020 09:03 PM

That way they can tweak the rules of social distancing but there will be a blanket ban on close contact scenes such as kissing hugging ect

Denver 29-04-2020 09:10 PM

Also sad news about Jill Gascoine dying, she was the original Glenda Mitchell but quit the role on her first day on set

Liam- 29-04-2020 09:13 PM

Big Mo and Ian Beale living together irl though, we want a gogglebox

Denver 04-05-2020 07:51 PM

So Whitney falls in love with another man who abuses her, is that her big storyline? We seen it 2 or 3 times over with her
