My area, Waveney, not expected till 6am :|

And our nearest polling station was about a minutes walk..and we went straight in and voted, we were the only ones there lol

Spike 07-05-2010 01:00 AM

What result are we all guessing? Conservative majority or hung parliament?
I'm going for a hung parliament, just.

King Gizzard 07-05-2010 01:00 AM

Hung parliament and hoping for a Labour Lib Dem alliance

Fuck you Tories

InOne 07-05-2010 01:01 AM

This reminds me of that hour special of 'The thick of it' where it's all on election night

Shaun 07-05-2010 01:01 AM

I bet the Tories get something annoyingly close like 317.

That's my guess..

Spike 07-05-2010 01:16 AM

ITV saying Labour have held one of the Bolton seats. This isn't looking so good for the Conservatives now

Shaun 07-05-2010 01:24 AM

Lembit Opik [lib dem] has lost to the Conservatives

Spike 07-05-2010 01:26 AM

I'm going to miss seeing Lembit's face. If there had of been a Celebrity Big Brother in 2011 then i'm sure he would have been a housemate. Maybe he'll get on I'm A Celeb..

King Gizzard 07-05-2010 01:29 AM

Pffft

Shaun 07-05-2010 01:29 AM

Quite a few Tory gains at the moment, including 3 in Wales

King Gizzard 07-05-2010 01:31 AM

Its really crazy as they are saying on BBC1, everywhere I go I just hear lib dem lib dem, my mates, and just everyone really. Yet theyve done so poorly

Shaun 07-05-2010 01:34 AM

I think a lot of the Lib Dem popularity on Facebook etc. might be with a lot of teenagers under the age of voting.

Spike 07-05-2010 01:36 AM

The Lib Dems are the shock of the night. Their percentage of the vote doesn't seem to have even increased. I thought the Lib Dems wouldn't do as well as polls predicted but I thought they would do well.
I think when people went to vote today they decided whether they wanted Cameron or Brown, a vote for the Lib Dems was too risky and could have let the worse one in.

Callum 07-05-2010 01:47 AM

Wish some of these people would read out the results faster

Tom4784 07-05-2010 01:47 AM

Ah, how disappointing. I was hoping for the Lib Dems to do a bit better. Ugh, looks like I got to hope for Labour now, Anyone but Cameron please.

Spike 07-05-2010 01:48 AM

Labour has surprisingly held Birmingham Edgbaston
Surely The Conservatives can't get a majority now

EDIT: Its going to a recount. This is a crucial seat

Callum 07-05-2010 01:54 AM

Cardiff South - Labour. I'm happy with that. :)

King Gizzard 07-05-2010 01:58 AM

Lol at the silly attire of candidates in Cameron and Browns constiuencies. Obviously know that they will get publicity

Shaun 07-05-2010 01:59 AM

Jesus and a Loony fail to overcome Cameron :(

Spike 07-05-2010 02:01 AM

Interesting set of candidates in Witney.. I thought it was a fancy dress parade at first glance haha

Spike 07-05-2010 02:02 AM

Labour had held another key Bolton seat.

Shaun 07-05-2010 02:28 AM

406 seats left to declare.

Jayson 07-05-2010 02:49 AM

Disappointed about the Lib Dems, was hoping for a few more seats for them :(

Hung parliament is my prediction also.

Shaun 07-05-2010 03:36 AM

Jacqui Smith loses her seat to the Conservatives.
