That's great news the rating are staying pretty steady, does anyone know the figures for LF.

*mazedsalv** 02-09-2012 10:02 AM

1.54m for last night. Highest Saturday of the three..

It's still doing very well. These last few days should all do quite well. Next bunch of officials are released tomorrow and they will be quite high as those ratings for that week were the first to go over 2m, so officials could be 2.4m+ for a few shows, and probably like 2.6m for Jasmine's eviction!

Jake. 02-09-2012 10:53 AM

Not too shabby, looking forward to the officials tbh.

BigBrotherfan4ever 02-09-2012 01:19 PM

I'm really pleased the ratings are doing so well.

Celebrity Big Brother entertained 1.75m (7%) on Channel 5 in the 9pm hour, adding 115k (0.6%) on timeshift

Can someone post the officials later please? :)

Not bad for a Sunday rating

*mazedsalv** 03-09-2012 12:55 PM

That Sunday rating is up 280k from last Sunday so that's good.

BARB OFFICIALS
Excluding +1: (Please note that +1 will make quite a difference when it's added on with Weds and Thurs ratings potentially topping 2.6m+

Monday 20th Aug- 2.22m
Tuesday- 2.37m
Wednesday- 2.42m (Jasmine's eviction)
Thursday- 2.43m
Friday- 2.15m (Cheryl's eviction)
Saturday- 1.73m
Sunday- 1.89m

With +1 all these figures will be up around 100k-200K.

Really not much difference between this and CBB9 obviously the average will be lower due to the lower launch night figures.

When will we get the +1 so we can officialy compare?

Not sure. BARB hasn't updated Ch5+1 at all, so we will probably never get them!! Hopefully some ratings experts on DS can find them. With +1 I am pretty sure officials are at around 2.35m-2.40m (down 200-250k from CBB9) but had CBB10 launch got the same, CBB10 would be pretty much exactly like CBB9s 2.6m official average.

Yeah its doing better than i originally thought.

Think the final could reach 3 million but will be down on CBB9.

If the overnights of the final beat 2.7m for CBB10, it will be the last series (CBB and BB) since 2006 (BB7) that a final outrates a launch. So CBB10 launch will have to get 2.7m overnights or beat the official of 2.96m for the launch to be "the most consistent" BB/CBB in 6 years.

I actually reckon it could happen. It will depend on this last week.

So far overnights wise, this series is beating BB10, BB12 and BB13.

Jake. 03-09-2012 01:38 PM

If it could average 2.3-2.4 it would be fantastic

I'm sure it will. 2.4m I predict as those Weds and Thurs ratings would be around 2.6m with +1 and then a few of these days coming up, I reckon we could see 2.1m overnights with maybe 2.2m for the double on Weds and then obviously the final which could boost it a little bit. I would say 2.4m rounded up.

Jake. 03-09-2012 01:48 PM

Would be amazing.

Matt 04-09-2012 06:20 AM

Were overnight figures for last Wednesday's second show (Rhian's eviction) ever eventually released? :(

Nope. But they will be next week when the officials for that show will be released.

Back to last night- 2m for it. Hopefully during the final days, it can start getting around 2.1m so we can hopefully get a 2.4m official average (however we are at 2.3m at the moment). Last night was a tough slot with New Tricks getting 6.9m and A Mothers Son debuting at 5m. so hopefully with weaker competition, CBB can achieve around 2.1m for it's HL shows and around 2.2m for the double tomorrow.

So weekend ratings in full incl last nights:

Friday- 2.12m incl +1
Saturday- 1.54m incl +1
Sunday- 1.87m incl +1
Monday- 2m incl +1

Friday, Saturday and Sunday's ratings were all UP on the previous weeks.

Jake. 04-09-2012 10:34 AM

Makes me laugh how we all predicted this series to bomb in the ratings, yet it's not really doing differently from CBB9

Jake. 05-09-2012 10:53 AM

22:00 - Celebrity Big Brother: 1.8m (10.5%)
23:00 - Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side: 657k (7.5%)

*mazedsalv** 05-09-2012 11:12 AM

Would be around 1.9m with +1 as 1.8m is EXCLUDING +1. Yes, slightly down but still good up against the stronger competition it has had since Saturday.

Interesting official stats.

The launch leading to the first Sunday officially averaged 2.27m INCLUDING +1.
The latest week officials (Monday-Sunday) officially averaged 2.17m EXCLUDING +1 (if you count the usual ~150k for +1 it would officially average 2.32M)

So I think for the first time in many, many years, the 2nd week officials BEAT the first week (which has the launch to always boost it up).

This would mean, taking those numbers into account. The Current Official Average Incl +1 would be between 2.28m-2.32m

Jake. 05-09-2012 11:14 AM

Interesting! I could settle for a 2.3 average, it's good enough for Autum

*mazedsalv** 06-09-2012 08:46 AM

Shame that the first show was on at 8pm, spoiled any chance of momentum. I am unusre if this includes +1 or not:

BB 8pm show- 1.8m
Dallas- 2.95m
BB later show- 1.9m

Dallas lower than people generally expected. Also the 2nd show of BB received the highest share bar launch with 11.8%.

Jake. 06-09-2012 09:34 AM

Considering how much ratings have jumped up in the officials, it doesn't bother me too much

Jake. 06-09-2012 10:52 AM

Celebrity Big Brother's double bill, which saw Julie Goodyear and Prince Lorenzo evicted, was watched by 1.83m (11.1%) at 8pm (+1: 168k/0.7%) and 1.83m (11.3%) from 10.15pm.

BigBrotherfan4ever 06-09-2012 12:37 PM

I honestly thought the 2nd show would have got more viewers cause Dallas was on before it.

SSL2012 06-09-2012 12:44 PM

Same here, too bad just over a million switched off when bb came on, i was hoping it would retain at least an extra 200,000 off the back of Dallas..Oh well it's still doing just fine and i expect to see the final score a high 2.8 maybe 3million rating.

The 8pm showing held up very well aswell. Obviously a near 2mil solid fan base for the cbb series.

Be intresting to see where five rank amongst the channels in january 2013 with a new CBB and second series of Dallas giving the channel a big share boost.
