I'm definitely an outsider. Unless you play all the games and come in everyday for a few hours a day then you always feel like yur not really on "the inside"....

that being said though, I still feel like i'm part of the community here. Even though i'm not a part of any "cliques" i still feel like i'm part of the community. that's enuf for me.

You're no outsider to the BBUSA/BBAU forums, the few people that post around there are greatly valued:)

Nobody really converses with me so I feel quite isolated most of the time. :bawling: In a way it's good though. I do not spend all my time on here now like I used to do a few years ago.

Seriously though I don't think there are such things as insiders and outsiders.if you want to get more into the 'society' then you've just got to be more active I guess...don't believe in all that clique crap on here

Jake. 04-11-2012 02:03 AM

I feel far more of a 'member' now than I did before tbf its all about getting mucked in and becoming more remembered

I don't think that's necessarily true, I can think of a few that are really active but don't get much attention

Well thanks! and I agree with you, I think certain parts of the forum have different "insiders". I know I spend more time in the News stories and debates threads, and also the BBUSA threads, and i definitely know most of the people there. On the other hand there are other people who spend almost all of their time in the games and chat threads, or the BBUK threads, and i don't know them as well.

There are some people that you NEVER see in the News and debate section, and so i don't know them as well, even though they are very active in other parts of the forum.

Just like there are some people you'd NEVER see in Madonna threads, but i'm a huge Madonna fan, so i love Harry, but i don't ever see Harry in the serious debates section.

I would say there are really obvious cliques on here. Most members are fine to embrace others, whereas some are not very welcoming at all.

That's right. that's the truth.

I wouldn't say that the cliques are mean to anyone, they arn't bullies or anything like that, but they are a bit insular.

SharkAttack 04-11-2012 06:24 AM

I prefer to be in a clique that no one wants to be in. http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/p...ial/shifty.gif

I always see you as one of the members that a lot of members do love conversing with and you get a few mentions in the forum member type threads, I know I love your posts on this forum. But I suppose some members loving someone's posts but not always commenting on them or coversing say by PM could make said member still feel/see themselves as an outsider. Like yourself I tend to read the forum a lot more than posting just lately.

Is this because I said I hate new members because I don't think that anymore. I embrace everyone with arms wide open now
