He was trash as usual. Like Wayne some fans think he is a good passer because he hits this Hollywood cross field passes yet is unable to make any sort of meaningful passes that open up a defence whilst also failing to hit his man from 5 yars with any consistency

To make it worse he is playing as a deep lying midfielder. Yet I saw Verrati Pirlo Marchiso etc picking up the ball MANY times between the defence and midfield and turning at will whilst Stevie was nowhere to be seen. Hendersois tripe yet at least he actually attempted to close in on the likes of Pirlo at times whilst Stevie strolls aimlessly around the pitch

I am sure we were talking about how England aren't supposedly capable of scoring any goals so i think you've been having a discussion with yourself about how good/bad we are. As you've mentioned it.. no i dont disagree, we always fail at major tournaments, but this side were much more entertaining today than what we've seen in previous years.
