Just re-watching New Years episode.

The scene when Emma meets up with killer cuts to show an empty Branning house. Does this imply that a Branning may have killed Lucy?

Or just coincidental?

walford fan 03-01-2015 11:46 AM

I hate that Nick convinced Yvonne to help frame Phil.

At this stage I think that it's a mixture of both. It either did that as a red herring or because it was one of them.

I was confused by this as well, I was expecting to see an empty Beale house, too. It may just be to play with your mind.

Braden 03-01-2015 12:43 PM

Suspicion is rife. :joker:

I'm starting to believe that it was Max who killed her. The confusion of whether his name was cleared or not is a red-herring in my opinion.

It's between Jane and Max for me, but I'm still sticking with Lauren too because I said her name when it first happened.

armand.kay 03-01-2015 02:14 PM

I don't think Lauren was the killer surely she would of been more relieved when Emma died and she kept asking questions as to why Emma was acting so strange. I don't think she would want to draw attention to Emma stringent behaviour because if she was the killer she would already know why and she wouldn't want people finding out why.

armand.kay 03-01-2015 02:14 PM

But then again this is soap logic they probably haven't made up their mind on who the killer is.

she sounded genuinely concerned whereas Abi couldn't care less

Loukas 03-01-2015 02:19 PM

I think it was either Jane, Denise, Abi or Max!

Rob! 03-01-2015 02:37 PM

The writing for this story really has been amazing - let's be honest, we don't have a clue who it could be yet.

LukeB 03-01-2015 02:42 PM

Eastenders getting Over 8 million :clap1:

I think they're deciding this month.

Aparantly it's between two people, but their 'first choice didn't come from the heart'.

armand.kay 03-01-2015 03:06 PM

Lol what do they mean by it 'didn't come from the heart'? :suspect:

Firewire 03-01-2015 03:12 PM

They already know who killed Lucy, the will tell the actor this month. Originally it was supposed to be someone else but it didn't make sense so they changed it.

Braden 03-01-2015 03:16 PM

I don't know, Armand :joker:

Yeah, I think Jonathan is right actually. I misread the 'Who Killed Lucy Beale' Wikipedia page.

The story which began on Good Friday is described by Dominic Treadwell-Collins, the executive producer, as being "emotionally right, true and very exciting"[5] and that, after initially deciding on a killer, they came up with an alternative killer early in the planning stages as their initial choice "didn't come from the heart".

Looks like Stan will be sticking around for a few months

Black Dagger 03-01-2015 05:33 PM

Good, the longer the better, I've already lost Emma this year, I want to cherish him for as long as possible

Loukas 03-01-2015 06:27 PM

what characters have an iphone cause it can't be them, looking back at when Emma sent the text message it was a Nokia message tone..

I wouldn't trust that, they probably used a generic text tone. Although Max has an iPhone, I think.

armand.kay 03-01-2015 06:56 PM

I think they use the same text tone no matter what phone it is.

Cal. 04-01-2015 09:14 AM

I hope they announce who was going to be the killer before they changed it too.

Flashback episode to air during anniversary week. It's likely to be the episode following the live one. The flashback episode will be set the night Lucy died. Tanya Franks and Jamie Lomas will return as Rainie Cross and Jake Stone, respectively.

Firewire 04-01-2015 08:50 PM

Hetti Bywater will return as Lucy, obviously.
