You don't expect this kind of thing to happen at all but for it to have happened to a place that were already on high alert just shows that nowhere is safe.

We've all jumped to a conclusion on who they are already but they still haven't identified who the shooters were working for (and the number of them has now been extended from 5 to 8), so hopefully they confirm that at some point today so we have some kind of idea about why this happened.

..there are so many different reports of the number of dead, it's just shattering and still hard to absorb, to see places/streets that you've walked down as scenes of such slaughter/unreal...and while we're all thinking things like..Friday 13th/all of those silly unlucky things ..and this...it's hard to have words for any of it...all I can think of this morning is not only those who dies and their families/friends, but those who survived and the images inside their heads...
