Millennials vs Gen X is finished. I must say I actually enjoyed the season, it wasn't like the greatest I've seen but I was going in expecting much worse. The season did focus a bit too much on game play and the cast wasn't the greatest ever but it was entertaining throughout. I ended up liking Adam in the end and I'm glad he won for his mum, Hannah did deserve at least a few votes though.
Rankings: 1. Michaela 2. Hannah 3. Jay 4. Jessica 5. Michelle 6. Ken 7. CeCe 8. Figgy 9. Adam 10. Brett 11. Rachel 12. Lucy 13. Mari 14. Taylor 15. Sunday 16. David 17. Chris 18. Will 19. Paul 20. Zeke |
Excited for Miss Michaela's win in Game Changers.

Started Vanuata earlier, really liking it so far (well the bits on the boys tribe are kinda dull but the women's tribe are a MESS and it's brilliant to watch). Just finished episode two with Dolly's blindside. Eliza/Twila/Scout/Ami are my top four at the moment.
|
ooh you're gonna have fun
|
I reeeeally liked Twila & Eliza and I was still super bored getting through that season.
|
Vanuatu was entertaining enough and has one of my favourite FTCs of the first fourteen series, but my biggest issue is that when it came down to it there was no one really to root for. A just below middle of the road season IMO.
Watch Palau through Panama next! |
This NEEDS rebooting soon. I shall be watching Cagayan, Worlds Apart and Kaoh Rong over the next few weeks so I can get more understanding of a lot of Game Changer players like Tai, Debbie, Sarah, Tony, Hali etc.

Any type of liking I had for the season was mainly due to Rodney. :fan: |
did you finish Vanuatu?
|
Cagayan is..... okay. Definitely overrated but it's fine I guess.

Tony, Trish, and Sarah :clap2: J'Tia, Kass, Spencer and Tash :clap2: Morgan and Brice :clap2: (Okay this was the only tribe that was a dud but the other two more than made up for it) |

Yeah Cagayan is definitely one of the best seasons ever. It's full of drama, great characters and also good strategy. It's almost universally regarded as one of Survivors best seasons ever.
|
Cagayan had a great pre-merge. That's it. The post-merge is a significant downgrade because it revolves around two camerahogs constantly on the hunt for Idols and that's just unimpressive.
|
The merge episode is the best one tho!

So, this is being rebooted after like a three and a half year (?!?!?!) absence! Idk I’ve been struggling to find something to watch in lockdown and ended up coming back to Survivor.
I’ll try and watch seasons in order this time :joker: (idk why 16 year old me was just impatient for some seasons like HvsV and Pearl Islands). I’m three episodes into Marquesas currently and it took me a little while to get back into the show after such a long break  it’s got off to a pretty decent start although Boston Rob is getting way too much edit. Ew. I don’t think it’s QUITE got going yet, things are still a little slow and the dynamics are changing but it’s been entertaining so far. Kathy and Sarah are my initial faves. |
Just finished the merge episode of Marquesas. It’s really started to pick up now and I’ve been enjoying it a lot more. The jury’s still out atm on who’s my favourite and who’s not, nobody has particularly stood out at me but I do like Kathy/Neleh/Vecepia.
So glad Boston Rob has gone  couldn’t stand him on HvsV and couldn’t stand him on Marquesas (unfortunately I am aware he manages to somehow do the show SIX ?!?! times... yuck) |
Yes and those are his two best appearances :)
|
Love how this thread last ended with a Cagayan coronation :worship: Soooo good
|
Down to F6 now, will probably finish tonight. It’s been a pretty good season and I have been engaged but I can’t really explain what’s so great about it? :joker:. I think it feels very authentic (and I haven’t seen a season for years now tbf) and there is plenty of ongoing drama/storylines to keep me entertained but I can’t pinpoint (as of yet) any truly memorable moments.
Neleh is my fave  but I like pretty much everyone left in the F6 (Vecepia and Robert are a little UTR but they’re fine) |
Finished Marquesas. Overall thought it was a pretty decent series, not one of my very favourites but it was definitely fun to watch. Vecepia is a decent winner but I would’ve much rather the win had gone to Neleh, but she fluffed in the jury questions :(. I *might* watch Thailand next if I do decide to watch in order but I’ve never heard anything good about it so idk :joker:
1. Neleh 2. Kathy 3. Sean 4. Sarah 5. Gina 6. Vecepia 7. Patricia 8. Gabriel 9. Paschal 10. Zoe 11. Robert 12. Tammy 13. Hunter 14. Peter 15. John 16. Boston Rob |
