Bear couldn't last ten minutes with me. Just treat him like the special little person he is, talk slowly to him and ask if he understand everything you say.
In your mind put him on the naughty step and ignore him, like you would any three year old having a tantrum.
He would soon beg to be out, he needs attention like he needs air to breathe.
