William Regal is likely to be announced as the next HOF inductee on Raw tonight

Why? She is stagnating it. They'd thrive without her.

I'm just in two minds.

I just fear that they've focused on her being THE BEST for so long that if she just leaves then nobody will be arsed with the others.

Ember is a good person to pass the torch on to though so hopefully you're right but even she needs alot of character work... Would love to see the belt on Nikki Cross towards the end of this year!

Asuka was only put in that tag match to fill in for Naomi anyway but regardless the likes of Ember, Peyton, Billie and Nikki etc are more than capable of keeping the NXT womens division interesting imo.

Denver 13-03-2017 05:05 PM

I am surprised they put Asuka in NXT to start with

Black Dagger 13-03-2017 05:05 PM

Yeah I think character development is a must now. They've all taken a back seat to the whole "who will Asuka beat now x" and I love Asuka. It's no negative about her, more the booking in general.

Totally agree, it's been bad booking since the draft. IF this is Asuka getting called up I'm intrigued to see the direction the division takes with Ember at the helm.

Please God though no more undefeated streaks!!

Who knew, Raw is actually quite entertaining to watch with 1.5 - 2.0x speed.

Denver 14-03-2017 11:18 AM

I was hoping Balor would come down and beat HHH at the end

Brother Leon 14-03-2017 02:30 PM

Ok I can get behind this Reigns heel turn.

Brother Leon 14-03-2017 02:49 PM

Only problem is you pretty much need to put Reigns beating Taker last to prevent the riot and negative feedback for Orton beating Wyatt and especially Lesnar/Goldberg in the crowd and online.

Denver 14-03-2017 03:17 PM

Apparently Orton and Wyatt will be one of the 1st matches

Denver 14-03-2017 03:19 PM

And to add to the misery, Orton vs. Wyatt, which is seemingly the best storyline currently across all brands, will be relegated to a lower spot on the card. This completely undermines the importance of the Royal Rumble and goes to show WWE’s dependence on part-timers.

Brother Leon 14-03-2017 08:18 PM

Ergh. Winner of the Rumble should always headline the show. Only exception really should have been Undertaker streak matches.

BBfanUSA 14-03-2017 09:28 PM

Dunno if it's going up in the UK but Lucha Underground's first two seasons are being added to Netflix tomorrow.

For those unaware it's essentially Lucha Style Wrestling mixed with WWE production values and an Aztecan backstory that a bit reminiscent of Mortal Kombat.

There's a few WWE has beens in the promotion but unlike TNA, they're booked correctly. Like John Morrison AKA Johnny Mundo.

There's a long list of AAA level indy talent as wel
l, such as Ivvelise, Matt Cross (Masked Wrestler named Son of Havoc, him and Jimmy have had a bit of friendly banter over it on twitter), Jeff Cobb (The Masked Monster Mazanta Cuerto), Joey Ryan (It's still him but he's an undercover police detective investigating the promotion but doesn't show up til the start of Season 2 I think), Pentagon Jr, Fenix, Aerostar, Sexy Star, Taya, and the top face Prince Puma aka Ricochet.

There's a couple unique match types as well such as Aztec Warfare, which is a Rumble type match where you're eliminated by pinfall or sub and not by being thrown over the top rope.

LaLaLand 14-03-2017 09:31 PM

For anyone who has not seen Lucha Underground yet, it's awesome.

It's very far-fetched and what not but extremely enjoyable with an amazing roster of wrestlers. A must-see for fans of Mexican wrestling but also, like you just said above, great match stipulations.

Plus - INTERGENDER WRESTLING! The Pentagon Dark vs. Black Lotus Triad handicap match was just epic! (Triad consisted of "Black Lotus"/Angela Fong who used to be Savannah in WWE, Io Shirai, Kairi Hojo -who both are on the way to WWE- and Mayu Iwatani).

Highlights below, absolutely insane. You can't not be underwhelmed by WWE after watching something like this:

I thought he was taking over Foley so why Smackdown?

BBfanUSA 15-03-2017 02:13 AM

SD ended over the timeslot on USA so they cut the last part of Shane's ending promo off with an ad for Christley Knows Best. XD

Rumours of Nakamura being called up cause he's not on the poster :adam:

Denver 16-03-2017 12:34 PM

Nakamura should have been Aj Style's opponent for Mania

Denver 16-03-2017 03:39 PM

Dave Meltzer, of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, is reporting that WrestleMania 34’s main event appears to be locked in, and it involves Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.

Denver 16-03-2017 03:39 PM

Kill me right ****ing now

LaLaLand 16-03-2017 03:45 PM

Gripping... Another 12 months of sporadic Lesnar squashes to come then.

Brother Leon 16-03-2017 03:49 PM

They both work Best as and should be Monster Heels. Not sure how it is meant to work.

Edit: If Reigns beats Taker as a baby face..
