Coutinho is inconsistent enough as is...a sulky and unhappy Coutinho will just be ridiculous.

Spoiler:

me having done more great football transfers than in real life, with football manager 2010, i edited the game more realistic and up to date for now, but i bought Robinho for PSV, and basically lots of good players Maxi Biancucchi for NAC Breda, Mantorras for NAC Breda :amazed: maybe i should become a coach myself

Johnny Evans was much better them the likes of Stones last season, Mers makes a good point

Drew. 18-08-2017 03:29 PM

Liverpool are fools for declining that kind of money. It's obvious Coutinho is having a massive sulk over all of this, i highly doubt he'll have much enthusiasm to play for Liverpool in the future. Take the money before Barca go elsewhere, there are replacements out there

Denver 18-08-2017 03:33 PM

Apparently they have told Barca to pay £135 million

Novo 18-08-2017 03:35 PM

Would stay at Liverpool anyway, what could you achieve at Barca that hasn't been achieved in recent years? At least at Liverpool they have had hardly any success since 2006, win a league cup this season and the fans will be asking for a statue of him outside Anfield

Denver 18-08-2017 03:37 PM

Barca are a bad team nowadays anyway not the same as they were and the 3rd best Spanish team in my opinion plus they are corrupt as ****

Locke. 18-08-2017 04:57 PM

No reason for us to take that money. We don't need it and he's our poster boy. Only £82m upfront as well.

It's 100% true. We shouldn't have sold him.

Anyway...

X2

I dont understand why we've got Ozil, Sanchez, OX and Wilshire (probably over 100m in talent?) with one year left on their contracts but we got Gibbs and Jenkinson refusing permanent moves cuz they dont want to take a pay cut. The club is in a mess

Drew. 21-08-2017 02:05 PM

After watching Jenkinson play his last couple of games for us he's lucky he's even managed to even get into a Championship side

Zlatan Ibrahimovic: Manchester United re-sign striker on one-year deal

Quote:

Manchester United have re-signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a one-year contract.

The 35-year-old former Sweden striker made 46 appearances and scored 28 goals for United last season.

Ibrahimovic was released by the club in June after his season was ended prematurely by a knee injury, but he is expected to be fit again in December.

"After his contribution last season he deserves our trust and we will be patient waiting for him to return," said manager Jose Mourinho.

Ibrahimovic, who initially joined the Red Devils on free transfer in July 2016, had been recuperating at United's training ground after having knee surgery.

Mourinho added: "We are delighted Zlatan is on the road to recovery and we are equally delighted to have his ambition and experience back with us.

"I have no doubt that he will be important in the second part of the season."

Ibrahimovic said: "I am back to finish what I started. It was always mine and the club's intention for me to stay.

"I cannot wait to get back out on that Old Trafford pitch, but I also know that I have to take my time to make sure that I am ready. I have been working hard and will continue to do so to make sure I am in the best possible condition for my return to the pitch."

Great signing. Apparently Wenger has said that the Lemar deal is dead.

Drew. 24-08-2017 04:57 PM

Arsene saying he's happy with the strength of the squad.. "too much competition for places is not good" is the biggest load of tosh i have ever heard. Even worse the fact he doesn't want any depth in order to keep bang average players happy. Unbelievable

Denver 24-08-2017 05:00 PM

The Ox will be at Liverpool next week and Sanchez at Arsenal

Denver 24-08-2017 05:05 PM

My manager has been a saint and scheduled me deadline day off.

I feel it will be a fantastic one and just chuffed we get Redknapp in his car back

Shaun 24-08-2017 05:17 PM

Deadline Day peaked in around 2011. Nothing interesting happens any more.
