Killing him off was weak, he should've left because none of his family wanted to see him again

But then that's the same as his last exit so I don't know if it'd work twice

Johnny doesn't deserve anything good in his life.

Firewire 09-09-2017 12:08 AM

Max better not smother our Jane!

Why recast? :oh:

The actor was fine. The plots were the problem.

Because Jona hates ha and we will be running the show in ten years

Aaron was good but I don't like him after he slagged our Sarah Harding

Marsh. 09-09-2017 12:09 AM

EastEnders main problem for a long time has been thinking major character deaths will give it a resurgence or lease of life.

If the writing is not there, it will just make things worse.

Jane will manage to spit out one word before she dies "Max!" leaving Ian to believe she was shagging Max all this time.

He said something about how it's sad to see the public rewarding a homewrecker

I bet he was a hoot at Jac Jossa's wedding to that womanising scum. :omgno:

And he bashed Our Stacey Solomon when she did panto with a script lmao

Ross. 09-09-2017 12:12 AM

It's annoying that something is obviously going to happen to Jane (a coma) that means this revenge story will continue

Jane better not get the Summerhayes treatment

Marsh. 09-09-2017 12:13 AM

Her discovering his revenge was implausible anyway. What she overheard then leading to her knowing Max is behind everything including the Vic etc is ridiculous imo.

Are you questioning our Jane's ability as a private investigator?

Kim driving?

Rob! 09-09-2017 12:14 AM

Personally I think it would have made more sense within Max's revenge if Steven went to prison for causing the fire and the attempted murder of Jane.

:joker:

Side note: The shot of Kim coming down the steps outside of her house like a little old woman made me hoot.

This. Prison and being left isolated from his family (his entire fear in the first place) would've been a much more plausible ending.

Much like Ronnie maybe going to prison for murder and Roxy stepping up, maturing and taking care of the kids would've been a much better ending for them.

The show cuts off its nose to spite its face.

Ross. 09-09-2017 12:16 AM

Kim having the obligatory "bring the community together speech"
