Who else is getting that?

It's not allways 2M+ though is it as we've seen from the first set of officials when it should be for a January cbb. I do agree with you that it is their most constant and reliable show to hit that Mark but it's becoming very hard to even hit 2 million anymore.

The fact channel 5 pay so much for the show and are struggling to make a profit with it surely cost comes first?

The comments from people running the channel over th last 12 months or so have also been firm that they don't want bb to dominate the channel anymore and I get the impression they want rid of it.

Personally I would love it to go to itv2...far less pressure for ratings and a brand new start however given that channels audience is a lot younger we could be seeing bb going back to its cheesier days.

In a perfect world it would be put to rest for a few years and come back on channel 4 for its 20th anniversary as a one off to make it special and see how it goes from there.

Its stayed pretty much the same as last week with ratings increasing per episode.

Bad news, it didn't get 1.6m last night. These are the +1 actual ratings for the last 2 days...

CBB Inc +1
15/1- 1.45m (6.7%)
16/1- 1.51m (7.2%)

Ouch, I can't see it doing too well tonight against Kiri. I don't even think those will make 2m in the officials (the 1.51m might if it's lucky).

They need to be back up to the 1.6m-1.7m level, but I think 1.5m is the ceiling sadly now. It better not drop to under 2 million official :( starting to look it might.

I don't know what they could do, they need a big explosion but it won't happen with this lot especially if they don't want to prod too much but i think they will do everything they can to try and boost it now.

It's too late for late entrants so I'm not sure if there's anything they can do to get some drama and controversy. They can have **** stirring tasks but this cast is just really weak and I doubt anything will come from it.

Dreading to see this years summer series ratings though, surely BB is at risk of getting officials below 1 million now, and CBB will probably be BB17 level which is crazy to think about.

I wasn't implying that at all, but alright.

Well the BB18 series got 1.2m officially, so BB19 will probably be under 1m official so like 600k average, ouch. But right now, i don't care about that, i expect it to flop anyway. I just want this series to average at a 2.0m official, so it needs at least 1.5m overnights nightly.

Speak your point then this is a forum lol.

Why just add a picture of India in a response to an actual comment?

Tonight's going to flop against Kiri, Girlfriends and The FA Cup which went on for almost 3h 30 mins and went into penalties!

I'll say 1.25m.

I am definitely prepared for it. Tomorrow back to 1.5m and then 1.6m at a push on Friday.

How has this happened so quickly :worry:

Just 2 years ago we worried about CBB16 rating tragically bad, averaging 1.9 officially which is the same as BB14. Now the crown jewel of Channel 5, winter CBB, is at that point :skull:

To make it worse, this time last year Kim let loose and tonight’s equivalent episode had 2.13 million

So, isn't this confirmation that people want rows? Or is it just the cast? Becayse up until 2 days ago people were loving this series.

That episode was promoted online on the afternoon and got hundreds of thousands of views before it aired. They can only do that if a row happens. Lets be honest, for a "lite CBB", i am not surprised. With no rows, we shouldn't expect any spikes for the series, no one's going to turn up in droves for just talking.

So what people really want is manipulaton? BB revealing noms, "who said what?" and "tweet" tasks? Because rows ain't gonna happen naturally with these guys. They are too clued-up.

Watch the summer series when they get monsters in there and it will be constant rows, I can almost bet my entire savings on it.

How is it worrying? A member posts a meme of India in a chat about declining ratings...i was just making a point.

What's worrying is people who can't express an opinion with actual words on a forum.

No need to worry about me dude....are you ok?

No, but some early C5 series were just as tame yet averaged 2.4~

but imo I actually do think the cast is actually just quite boring because it’s so old. I really do like it, but it’s a bit too much now, not interesting to many people. We don’t need full blown rows, but this series has NOTHING to it. Individual conversations are interesting, tasks are interesting, the group development is interesting, but there’s next to no storylines happening. Ginuwine and Ashley barely passes

For some reason bb viewers seem to be the most expectant and critical of any show on TV. It allways tops the most complained about show with Ofcom in end of year polls and ironically when bb give the viewers what they claim to want aka a more back to basics style house they turn off completely but stay tuned when they are apparently offended by rows.

There is so much potential in this series and I hope they don't resort to the tweet tasks ect as its going to come accross desperate and faker than ever.

1.4m (6.8%) - including +1

Jan CBB seems to set the tone for the rest of the year in terms of ratings the past few years.

CBB17 did well, BB17 did well and then CBB18 did well.
CBB19 didn't do as well (would have been this series level if it weren't for Kim's arrival), BB18 did awful and then CBB20 did crap.

I really dread to see what BB19's ratings will be. Officials of 950k-1 million I reckon all series. CBB22 will be BB17 level I reckon with 1 million overnights and 1.6 officials.

Maggie keeping the millions interested :clap1:

It's definitely the two series' a year that's killed it off. They've chucked so many people in and now they're left with crap casts. I understand this cast is quite famous for its nature but they're not people that viewers would tune in for.

Cal. 18-01-2018 12:05 PM

And also I'd imagine Courtney alone is responsible for about 250k of the viewers with the teenage Drag Race fans and I'm really not kidding.

Denver 18-01-2018 12:07 PM

Is Drag Race big here?
