I’m the cotton clouds

Jason. 05-03-2018 11:26 PM

I know it's part of the theme, but I don't like how the blue and gold clash with the red and black. It's an eyesore.

T* 05-03-2018 11:35 PM

ngl this season isn’t giving me the BBCAN feels I usually start?
something feels off

Josiah. 05-03-2018 11:39 PM

Tom, your lack of BBCAN feels could possibly be due to the fact that the HG reveal, house tour, and premiere are really close in time this year (kinda like CBBUS last month).

JerseyWins 05-03-2018 11:40 PM

I'm EXCITED for this season. Even if the season doesn't turn out to be that good, just the feel of BBCAN usually makes it fun to watch (like BBCAN5 kinda sucked but still it wasn't difficult to get through at all).

The cast doesn't look spectacular on first impressions but not bad and looks like a lot more potential than BBCAN5's newbie cast.

Josiah. 05-03-2018 11:41 PM

Jersey, you are totally right.

Also Heaven and Hell doesn't seem to be fitting with the theme they've been using in the promos so far... It would be a pretty drastic shift in theming to suddenly switch from a governmental/spy agency theme to heaven and hell...

I was wrong... So? The twist is no where near as elaborate as people were speculating...

I'm still excited for the season! Although it's true that the quality has fallen since the move to global I still think it's the best BB by a long shot.

And I 100% agree with Jersey, BBCAN always manages to keep it fun so I'm optimistic.

About the cast though I feel like the interviews may not have done them justice. All the questions have been like WHATS YOUR STRATEGY and WILL THERE BE A SHOWMANCE rather than actually getting to know them as people.

The move from Slice to Global has nothing to do with anything... It's the same company that owns both networks! It's also the same production company that's produced the show... It's also the same group of people that Insight have put in charge of the show... Erin Brock and Trevor Boris have both been with BBCAN since day 1...

The only reason it moved in the first place was the fact that Global gives the show a larger reach as it has mandatory carriage across Canada vs Slice as a specialty channel may not be available with all TV packages... Since the move ratings have doubled so it was a smart move...

I was trying to figure out the havenot room and I thought what if the beds are like underneath the water thing? Like it raises up like this (sorry about the old af vid) but it could go like higher to reveal beds or something if that makes sense?

or the coffin is just a fancy storage ottoman that has all the bedding in there

Calderyon 06-03-2018 11:26 PM

The coffin or something inside it is obviously (well, close enough) a place for a secret Power of some kind.

I doubt it's anything that intricate... My guess is that it's not actually a pool of water... It's probably just meant to appear that way...

^ This didn't even cross my mind but yeah that must be it.

Yeah, I just rewatched the have-not room part of the house tour video and the way the light reflects on the swamp makes it look like it's really just a hard surface.

The biggest hint that this wasn't everything it appeared to be is the amount of space between the walls and the pool as well as the number of people that will be sleeping in that room... A spoiler on reddit spoke about the number of HG's that are have-not's in the first week... There simply is not enough room for that many people to sleep around a pool of water that large...

Calderyon 07-03-2018 06:09 PM

Does anyone remember at what time the eviction spoilers usually emerged last year?

3 or 4 hours before the eviction?

I don't know, Arisa Cox mentioned in an interview that it was real water. I suppose we won't know until tonight.
