I'd rather give a pic taken by a pro than announce it and wait for a long range pap pic when I'm not looking my best. Surely that's common sense? |

They are now Celebs not Royals....they have no.protocol to bind them Can you not see that by releasing a picture they have possibly maintained their privacy....we've seen the bump so pap pics are not the hot commodity now. Now, if you excuse me....I have this week's Royals Weekly to edit.... |

If you said something and I called you a liar between you and I that's different If I said nothing to you personally, or in addition to saying you're a liar then I repeat that to others. That's tantamount to slander. If I put that you are a liar in print and in public, and have done this or that presenting it as fact. When you haven't. Then that would be tantamount to libel. If I say I think, or possibly or maybe you've lied or done something. Then I'm not presenting it as a fact. Which would not be wrong. Things in tabloids are wrong. After all the Duchess has just won a case against a tabloid. Which I further congratulate her on. The Daily Mail no less, which has often been used as anti Meghan so called facts on here even. |

...which is why it’s on the onus of proof to be given..?...in this internet age especially and so much stuff about celebrities etc, it’s an obvious safeguard and a good thing for that to be the way, I feel...thank you, Joey...... |
I've sat here tearing my hair out on furlough all these months and could have had a fabulous, high brow publication whizzing out from my kitchen :fist:
This time next year Rodney...... |

If anyone's accusing anyone else of lying or doing wrong, yes the onus is on the accuser to present substantiated proof not opinionated presentation. The anonymity on social media however is really worrying. Lives can be ruined by it. By anonymous individuals throwing out accusations with at present, no comeback. Of course it should be the duty of all social media owners of any setting really. To set standards of ensuring opinion only, doesn't override production of solid substantiated proof of singular or multiple accusations. Then again however, look at the gutter actions of the tabloids too. It's like a pack mentality once someone becomes a target. As the Duchess of Sussex is to said tabloids. As well as areas of social media too. Very sadly. |

If you want lay down at Meghan and Harry’s feet and shower them with affection and hold them in god like regards that’s fine
If people want to see them as a pair of preaching hypocrites interested in their own gain while claiming to be healing the world that’s also fine. Every one is entitled to their own opinions without the need to know them on a personal level. There is a clear devide when it comes to Meghan and Harry and no one is going to change their minds |

I thought that was pretty clear. Hence it being under my paragraph on social media with anonymous individuals throwing out accusations. I'm not aware of anonymous individuals writing articles in tabloids. Then again, I never read the gutter trash tabloids anyway so wouldn't know. Although I'm sure even the tabloids would want to have the identity of anyone they used accusations from, even if they didn't reveal same for a time. |
