As there are millions of people playing the game (let's say 1.5 million globally just for easy maths - it's probably more) and there are only 150,000(ish) 5 letter words, that means statistically about 10 people per day DO happen to guess the word first time.
Also factor in that Wordle in my ezpwri nce doesn't use words that are too obscure - it's common ones people will know... So it's probably that.
Then factor in that people tend to use the same first words repeatedly...
Let's say your first word every time you play is "skull". The chances of the word actually being "skull" one day aren't that massive.
And again there are millions of people with millions of different first words. Sort of like the lottery I guess. Every time, there's bound to be SOMEONE who just happens to use the right word by chance. |
