So there is no entrance lift... the entrance is on the ground floor, as expected.

I mean Kate Lawler confirmed the lift in an exclusive video so no idea why your choosing to ignore it

I know there's a lift within the house, and Kate also said HMs will walk up and down the staircase to enter and exit... which we know is wrong as that staircase she pointed to leads to the loft.

I’ve literally just come from the launch. When the housemates enter the house they descend then come out into the corridor

Amazing! Hope you had a good time!
What did you think overall without giving away any spoilers please! How did ITV do?

Overall, good mix of housemates. Very diverse and normal down to earth people from what I saw. There were no VTs shown. AJ and Will were great.

First impressions tell me that ITV know what they’re doing. I think it’s in safe hands.

The house looks stunning, the only thing I'm not overly keen on is the corridor.

Only just seen the pictures of the house. This is the most beautiful house I've ever seen, absolutely love it

BBDodge 08-10-2023 10:37 AM

If it was House I'd want to live in there would be more pastel shades. It's too colourful for my eyes.

But I love the extra space that they have. At the old house you'd enter into the lounge/dining room/kitchen area and see through glass into the garden and into the bedroom. Only the bathroom, toilets and DR were isolated (and the occasional hidden room plus the task room which would be re-jigged every week).

I'd love to see a floor plan of the new house to see where everything fits. The bedroom seems to be down a long corridor.

The lift is for wheelchair users to get to the upstairs section of the house.

BBDodge 08-10-2023 11:12 AM

The BB House is a workplace so they would likely have had to make it wheelchair accessible, given the mezzanine lounge that they added. The Housemate selection process went on very late so they couldn't exclude anyone who couldn't use stairs, whether they made the final selection or not (I've not seen the Housemate spoilers so don't know if the lift will be required).

You’re in luck then.

“Talk about square footage!” “It’s got wings!”

I actually can't get over how gorgeous the house is! Can't wait to see it properly tonight.

I did tell you it would be happening.
