In Islam, women have more rights than man, for example:

She gets automatic spousal support/custody of the children in case of divorce
Her money is her money and she does not have to contribute anything
Male relative are required to support financially if she is poor, however, if she is rich, she is not obligated to support anyone in her family.
Only the husband is required to work and support the family.
In most Muslim countries, if a man insult a woman, he can be jailed for 6

They have though only thing Allah makes different is bioligically they are different, Islam doesn't believe in equality but it believes in justice to every human being, finacially they are more supported automatically, a child usually gets custody under mother, when was divorce right given to women here?, inheritance and propery right to women was first given from Islam under Quran laws long before it even reached europe, womens were also allowed to be political leaders as well as head of state, a women cud also work in the community, Islam encourages female nurse, Doctors, teachers. According to Islamic scholar William Montgomery Watt, Islam improved the status of women by "instituting rights of property ownership, inheritance, education and divorce." Even women votes was given centuries before that even reached in Europe. Also the oldest University was built by muslims and the president of university first was a women, and by the way 75% of converts are women according to US statistics.

I can provide all the parts in Quran that deals with divorce in the chapter called Divorce rights of man and women.

Prophet Mohammed spoke of justice 14 centuries ago, weather it be male, or female or the poor, the judgment of court should be given accordingly.
Book 24, Number 3566:
Narrated Buraydah ibn al-Hasib:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Judges are of three types, one of whom will go to Paradise and two to Hell. The one who will go to Paradise is a man who knows what is right and gives judgment accordingly; but a man who knows what is right and acts tyrannically in his judgment will go to Hell; and a man who gives judgment for people when he is ignorant will go to Hell.

And they (the women) have rights similar to those (of men) over them in equity; but men have a degree of (responsibility) advantage above them.... (2:229)

From this verse it can be easily deduced that as far as rights are concerned, women are equal with men but as the whole responsibility, according to Islam, of affording the household amenities rests with man therefore he has a rank above them in this respect.
