That was awful.. there should have been another episode after this. That was really anti-climatic and really badly done. We don't even find out what happens to half of the cast.

Wow, that ending fucking sucked. Very disappointed.

Hell, the least they could've done would have been to show Cook actually twatting the Foster guy.

Still, Naomi's speech was moving and on the whole it was an alright episode, bar the ending.

Really enjoyed this series, shame it was ruined at the end. I'm going to miss this cast, they've been good.

Right, That ending was epic.. literally amazing i cried and cried.
I love cook SO much more than ever and i already loved him a massive amount but what.an.ending!

i just wanted to see their reactions but hey ho. loved it, im so sad that this cast are going actually..

also panda being clever! hahaha

Glad I didn't watch it now, from what I am hearing. Denying us the pleasure of watching John Foster's brains get beaten in is a silly move.

What happens Effy? How does Cook [and everyone] find out it was Foster?

In the last part they all end up in Freddie's shed, Cook sees some guy behind the gate when he's in the garden and hides in the bush. The guy walks closer and it's John Foster. A scene or two later we see Cook climbing into some room, and it becomes clear that it's Foster's house. There's lots of plastic boxes and in them are Freddie's clothes covered in blood etc. Suddely in the background we hear something like "what are you doing?", and Foster's there with a bat. He tells Cook to get on his knees because he 'deserves' Effy, but he doesn't. And then the **** ending happens. So basically only Cook knows what happened.

COOK slowly shakes his head. The BASEBALL BAT snakes out without warning and catches COOK in the Stomach. COOK staggers back...gasping. But then inexplicably he laughs.
COOK: I don’t think you know what I am mate
JOHN FOSTER: I think I do. You’re nothing. You don’t deserve that girl... And, you know...I do.
COOK shakes his head slowly.
COOK: I’m a ****ing waste of space... Just a stupid kid... I got no sense....A criminal...I’m no ****ing use...I am nothing...so please... please... get it into your...you know...into your bonce....That you killed my friend.... And...(HE SHRUGS) ... I’m Cook. He explodes towards FOSTER without warning fists, feet, everything. Devastating aggression. He screams, whirling past us in a blur.
COOK (CONT’D): I’M COOK!!!!!!
BLACKOUT.

We will have to wait too next series to see if Cook won.

Effie was a link through from series 1+2 maybe she will be in 5 even if its only a cameo.

Any bets on who series 5 will centre round? my moneys on Freddies little sister and her friends.

The possible future between Panda and Thomas in Harvard was a nice touch

I adored it!
I loved the ending, the way that it didnt matter if he killed him or not. After the speech about him being nothing, it was like we weren't supposed to know, because he is nothing regardless. Either way he was either gonna die or be on the run for the rest of his life.

I think it's fair to say we were meant to assume Cook does indeed beat the shit out of Foster. I think you have got the wrong impression. Cook isn't nothing. That was the point of the speech and subsequent lunge. He was always perceived as nothing but by sticking up for his best mate he is becoming something. That was the idea I got from the ending, anyway.

Fantastic last episode apart from the very end. I wanted to know what happens when they find out Freddie is dead and it was John and what actually happens to them, like a 1 year later thing would have been brilliant. Naomi's speech was moving also.

Must say, I have warmed to every character though, I wernt keen on some after series 3 but they wernt that bad in series 4, Katie & Effy inparticular.

Lara and Karen were good characters too, would be cool if Karen was in series 5+6. :)

I thought it was decent but it had too much going on, everything was rushed really. They spent the whole series without any sort of overarching story and then they tried to fit about 2-3 episodes into one. Good individual episodes but it's easily been the worst series.

The episode was nice but the ending was terrible. I mean, "I'm Cook !!!", WTF writers ? There must have been a better ending to a series and to a generation. We don't know what Effy, JJ, Katie are doing afterwards. We can assume Emily and Naomi are leaving together.
As for them two, the producers made such a lot of drama for what ? A 1 minute "going back" together moment in Fred's shed ? ROFLOLZ.

Series 4 was about to take over on series 1 as my favourite, it was all depending on the ending but as it wasn't great, it's stuck in 2nd place.

And to everyone, I was right, the last episode wasn't Naomi's, guess who told you that since the beginning ? :tongue:

I quite liked the ending, it was one of the better points of the episode. The series as a whole has been terrible though, it's just not gelled well together and there wasn't much of a point to anything until the last two episodes.

The ending was meh but I suppose I am glad the spoilers wasn't true. It would have been far fetched and stupid if Freddie and Effy both died and were buried next to each other. This series started off good but then as each episode went on it went a bit MEH. Been my least favourite series to date! I hope series 5 will be good..

Lol hehe it is like big brother.. series 4 was the snore series. Eventhough I did like Jon Tickle and Cameron! Series 4 was better than series 10 in BB anyways.

Therefore maybe series 5 will be good. Big brother series 5 was good.

How old do I need to be?
To audition, you must have been born between 1st July 1992 and 1st July 1994 (if you were born on those days, that's fine too).

Therefore you have got to be aged 16-18 for the next series of Skins!

I disagree. That's what I love about Skins, the endings are open to interpretation.

Awful ending. What happend? No ending whatsoever. Naomi's speech made me cry and so did Panda and Tommo holding hands, Panda's song also made me laugh and that Assia woman, everything was perfect except for that bloody ending, I pray to god that this apparent movie that is being written is a follow on from the S4 ending. They can't create a whole new bunch of characters for one movie so why not continue the story, Effy did not have a substantial ending having been through 4 series also! Highly disapointed! Ahh well Doctor Who in two weeks that'll cheer me up!
