Me and Reece were talking about how it's only women who are always getting tortured and the cancer storylines.. It's time for the males to have something happening to with/with them.

Tbf EastEnders has always been about the women.

The men rarely get any focus (unless you're a major character like Phil). Look at Jack, his sole focus for a decade was simply a part in Ronnie's story.

Yeah EE is meant to have women at the forefront. That period in like 2015-2016 when it was only Ian, Phil, Mick and Max(?) getting story lines was so annoying.

Eastenders has said they will start filming again at the end of june.

But they will have to go off air for a period of time as episode will run out before they restart filming

They should kill off one of the characters to make it like a proper tv season finale.

The Sun are saying they are considering a reboot of sorts and will end the current storylines and start with fresh ones they have in the hope it will return with a bang

A lot of them have to end offscreen anyway. Whitney's trial, Ben's ear operation etc.

It just makes Patsys return pointless? Although they may change their mind after her recent comments

I was thinking how nice it would be if they did some one on one interviews with cast members and put it on the Iplayer while it's not on.

I know they are doing current cast but I would love to hear some ex cast members stories of what it's like

Feel like I've been watching this season for years

I don't think they're scrapping all the current storylines.
But they will have to adapt them and I know they're doing a time jump.
That should be interesting.
