One of our friends cant handle the sound of 2 50ps rubbing together in his pocket so if he has more than one he has to put them in separate pockets, sounds weird but it drives him mental, I sat and asked him one night what about all other kinds of coins like what if you have 1 50p and 1 2p (I asked him lots of different variations) and he said no its only 50ps :laugh:

I don't like the sound of coins either, but it is not exclusive to 50ps. I think coppers are worse cos when I empty out my copper money box it sets my teeth on edge. But with my silver money box it's not as bad.

I hate the metallic smell copper leaves on your hands too
