Nice suggestion but it wouldn't work.

Could you imagine people who don't like each other being on the same team? More hassle then it's worth.

I understand, but it would be boring if the teams were the same every year.

MTVN 22-02-2013 09:41 PM

Could even just cut the amount of time allowed from 48 hours to 24, would probably make it more competitive

it's not a bad idea, would give newer members who don't know anyone well enough to make a team the chance to play?

And the Hiroshima from this video. It mentions Enola Gay, which was used to bomb that not Nagasaki, so...

Okay, still sure it is Nagasaki - the Hiroshima cloud was more dispersed in the footage I saw - even with the extra point we would have been half a point short.

I knew with the Jesse Owens one you were looking for the Berlin Olympics, although it is a different race. Our fault the date is wrong.

Thanks for doing the quiz.

I would suggest everybody who wants to take part signs up and once enough people are on board the host randomly allocates teams.

Would balance the playing field a lot.

No one ever gets left out, everyone gets to play.

I have two complaints..

Regarding #5 ... It's a bit of a trick question..
This is from Wikipedia: For almost 500 years the principal mosque of Istanbul, Hagia Sophia served as a model for many other Ottoman mosques, such as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque of Istanbul), the Şehzade Mosque, the Süleymaniye Mosque, the Rüstem Pasha Mosque and the Kılıç Ali Paşa Mosque.

Regarding #11 ... I think we deserve a point for saying the Moai..
This is from Wikipedia: Ahu Akivi is an ahu with seven moai

I said the same about 11, but Shaun said it's wrong.

I made a suggestion and received an abrupt response followed by the :idc: emoticon.

I'll not bother in future then.

Haha.. you should know better than to even doubt it. I put more detail in than necessary too. It is a bit of a speciality in my house. ;)

Hi Vanessa, nice idea I doubt I'll do another quiz though.

InOne 22-02-2013 10:29 PM

I'm not up for the whole mixing teams thing. I like Callidus and it's good to have a rivalry with certain teams.

Marc 22-02-2013 10:39 PM

Tbh I think everybody did well and sure a comeback win would have made you guys feel amazing etc. but I'm just glad the quiz went really well and it was competitive right down to the last round :)

GypsyGoth 22-02-2013 10:39 PM

Thank you Shaun for hosting it, I think you did a wonderful job

Congratz on winning MTV's Jusy and the Happy Turtles :worship:
