Since I've had a name change I've decided to change my Avatar. It's not great but I like it, It's just a photo edit though. Here's a larger version.

The main things I did with it was cartoonify it to create more shadows, change the highlights, lowlights and tones to different blues and put some light effects on it.

I think you went a little heavy on the effects, it looks over done.
