Why don't you read my posts. There was never ANY guarantee with Jamie..why are you all assuming he would and was going to pick her. There has been nothing to suggest that...no talk of it..no flirting. All they have had is his initial interest and an awkward date. Luke is such a nice bloke he is being taken advantage of left right and centre...and Shaughna is no exception seeing him as her last option to couple up and an attraction never before been mentioned.
Why do you always throw in the "clutching at straws" comment. I don't have to prove anything to you or anyone...its a forum for opinions and these are mine.
I don't dislike Shaughna, shes not a bad person but she put all her eggs in one basket for a man she didn't trust and I think this Luke scenario is fake and unfair to Luke.

I actually agree with you here, it was never guaranteed that Jamie would pick her, I think he’s more invested in Demi and probably even more in Natalia than he is in Shaughna. This argument that Shaughna “could have played it safe” by going for him because he was certain to pick her isn't a strong one.

The truth is Jamie came in with an agenda which is understandable because being a late entry near the final is the big disadvantage because no one will be able to invest in them like they have with Siannise/Luke T and Paige/Finley and are most likely to be voted off next and make no hardly any money. They also have the advantage of knowing who is popular and what the public wants, Jamie pulled Callum to the side for a talk because he thought the viewers will like that so that just proves he came in with agenda, doesn't mean he was 100% going to pick Shaughna but if she tried it could have happened

For someone who wants to stay in the villa is happy to go if her choice doesn't pick her because it's all or nothing. Jamie was the safest option and Shaughna could have easily done something about that too but she never tried and told him not to pick her. Someone can easily fake their feelings and feed them loads of crap and try really hard to get picked like what Natalia done and is doing. I don't think Shaughna and Luke M will work (i did say this about Maura and Curtis which also came out of nowhere) and i feel she's just confused, i think she wants a guy like Luke M so that's why she's attracted to him and having these feelings.Single life is new to her and has been betrayed

It's funny how not many people say anything about Demi with this "poor luke m" when she put him in the same situation again. Snogging him whilst telling him she's open to getting to know Jamie. Which she told him last minute and hasn't told Jamie how she feels making him feel he could pick her. I love her but she played this thing wrong and it will be her own fault if she goes and loses Luke M.

I TOTALLY agree rg and its also unfair on Demi. They are supposed to be friends. Demi really liked Nas but he copped off with someone else in Villa Amor so now she really is beginning to like Luke alot. I feel she told Luke she was going to get to know Jamie just to protect her feelings if Luke decided to go for someone else.

Demi would have been fine if she told Luke M how she feels straight away, the whole getting to know Jamie might have screwed her. He has more of a connection with Natalia in my opinion but he is free to choose who he wishes. Also yes Natalia had Luke as her ticket into the main villa but as I said before he is HOPELESS to show any kind of affection in there (unlike most of the other lads) I truly believe if he had been really invested in her he would have given her a kiss or cuddle or something. They did share a bed for a few nights At least Natalia was HONEST with him She could have just strung him along to get to the final knowing full well he is a favourite with the viewers

Aw bless him - such a tough decision. I don't know if he's attracted to Shaugna but he needs to think if its worth risking Demi knowing she is keeping her options open and sending really mixed signals. Hope he picks Shaughna but I have a bad feeling :worry:

I think if Luke does not reciprocate feelings back toward she will might not be happy about leaving but gracious about it.

If it is true that she is only interested in him as a means to stay in the villa why didnt she leave jamie feeling like there was potential with him too. It does not make sense for her to tell him to pursue other interests if her goal is to find a lifeline. I think she genuinely likes Luke.

I don’t think it’s such a risk if Luke picks Demi considering she told him last night she’s tried being open to Jamie but keeps gravitating towards him instead, he clearly fancies Demi otherwise he is pilfer have kissed her when Siânnise and Luke set them up on their “date”, it’s more of a risk to pick Shaughna when he’s never considered her before, if it was me I’d be going for the girl I already had some sort of connection with over an unknown.

I think both girls genuinely like luke. The ball is in his court.

I suppose it depends how much he is in it to win it or how much he is really there to find love. If its the former - he has seen the headline that he should couple up with Shaughna to win the prize, if its the latter he does seem to have more chemistry with Demi :shrug:

He did kiss her in the twister challenge and he took her to one side to kiss her again but she moaned about the challenge kiss and he backed off

He really only became a fan fav when she dumped him after getting into the villa

Yes that's how it will be...I really do not think he likes Shaughna in that way and the coupling would speak volumes.

My recollections aren’t brilliant but I recall LukeM being on cloud nine after him and Demi had kissed .. Saunisse was squealing with joy afterwards.. soon afterwards when Jamie walked in Demi stunned LukeM by saying she was going to get to know Jamie .. even before LukeM had had time to process this revelation Demi suddenly kissed LukeM again .. leaving him totally bemused.. LukeM told Saunisse and LukeT what had just occurred and they were also stunned .

That’s how I remember things and why I don’t like or trust Demi

Unlikely but if Jamie did get first pick, imagine if he picked Molly? That would throw a spanner in the works.

Jamie and Demi would be a better match than Jamie and Natalia. poor Natalia not going to get her PLT deals.
