i was actually dead annoyed with the ref today he was giving everything to tottenham. I think Liverpools confidence went when carragher and skrtel collided with each other earlier in the first half.It just went down hill from there. But i think that when benayoun came on we picked up a bit.

Birmingham played quite well today, i was quite surprised they didnt score.

Ah, Liverpool weren't too hot today and Spurs played very very well. Really impressed with their midfield.... Modric, Huddlestone and Palacios were all very effective. Alonso is missed.

Yeah he is missed. Jamie Redknapp said before the game that liverpool will be weaker without him and it showed today.

And if you compare both squads, Liverpool don't have much to use on the bench whereas Spurs had some good players to come in. I just think Liverpool are a bit shakey this season if Torres and Gerrard don't do the business regularly for them.
