I hope they keep Kevin around tbh despite his plotting around Brendan, he does have a heart and a conscience but is involved with the wrong people e.g. Walker, who must have a hold over Kevin and I am guessing it is some secret he possibly knows about Kevin?

I will miss the Jacqui/Tony scenes when she leaves:(.

It does:). There is lots of good storylines going on right now and character interactions.

I have a feeling some more new castings or current cast departures will be announced at some point!

I enjoyed Phoebe having a go at Sinead and Ruby about how they treated Esther, plus John Paul telling Ruby she is not a victim.

'Hollyoaks' Gemma Bissix: 'Clare Devine is extra evil'

The actress recently reprised her role as Clare and is expected to be back on screen later this month.

Bissix told Channel 5's The Wright Stuff today (March 1): "I've been filming last week. It's good to go back and it's very, very evil.

"I have to promise you - it's extra evil! It's exciting times at the moment."

Show bosses have previously teased that Clare will be causing trouble for Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) and Doctor Browning (Joseph Thompson) in her latest storyline.

Bissix is also currently busy working on a touring production of Agatha Christie play A Murder Is Announced alongside Dean Gaffney, who was recently hospitalised after a car crash.

She said: "He's fine - the crash actually happened when we were on the way back from Derby after a show. It literally happened 10 minutes after the show. But he is fine, he's still got a little scar. He had to have something like 68 stitches, but he's back on stage and loving it.

"We start a new play on the 2nd May, so we've got another play starting."

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.

Bissix told PA: "The feedback has been really great and everyone's been saying, 'We're going to start watching the show again, it's going to be like the old times', stuff like that. So I think it's exciting for people.

"The drama that Clare brings, that's what soaps are about - murders, shootings, killings, affairs and this and that - and it's quite nice to get a dark edge back to it. I think fans really enjoy that. It's real edge of your seat stuff."

Bissix also admitted that she never gets negative comments from fans, despite her character's evil ways.

She said: "I only joined Twitter a few months ago because my boyfriend persuaded me to, and I've never been on a social network so I'm completely new to it, but I've now got 2,000 followers in the last few weeks and they've been lovely and I've not had one negative comment."
