ACN??

And yes Denilson and diaby arent attacking midfielders but they arent defensive either and neither are particularly strong..

Im happy because bendtner actually shined against everton for me, usually he frustrated me..

Not to forget Walcott will be back within the week same as diaby...

Our team is looking quite large weirdly, i think its just because we will have all but 2 players fit by the time we play portsmouth..

African cup off nations

ACON

King Gizzard 17-08-2009 12:35 AM

Same with me and chelsea...

Dodgy start but they will remain consistant and keep picking up wins no matter how scrappy we drop silly points sometimes..

Johann 17-08-2009 12:37 AM

Remember tht game aginst Blackburn last season where we won 4-0 but Bentdner missed about 5 clear cut chances? That was ridiculous. Thankfully, we had Arshavin and EEEEEEMANUEL EBOOOOUE to show him how its done.

keithafc 17-08-2009 12:37 AM

Im always more confident we can score at any point in a game when Arshavin is in the team and we have the front 3 in a 4-3-3.

Song was immense but we put the opposition under pressure. We pressured them into losing the ball like Man utd do and Barcelona. That's the difference. Song could be immense but we need to keep doing that. You have to win the battle first in order to play.

30stone 17-08-2009 12:38 AM

Bendtner is usually against everton i rated him well..

Twice last season i complined about bendtner towards the end saying how he will come on and be ****ing **** and wont do anything, both times he scored lol..

Hes another..

Walcott
& bendtner

are not consistant at all..

Eboue does the same for me, i dont really rate him..

keithafc 17-08-2009 12:40 AM

We have match winners in the side. Van Persie, Arshavin, Eduardo are match winners. We have power in song, just need to keep doing the pressure game, he will come good in that. Our full backs are vital to the width, sagna, clichy. Gallas, Vermalene has some balance it seems to it. You have to give the quality players in the team a chance to win games.

King Gizzard 17-08-2009 12:41 AM

We ll only have Beye going away to the ACON

And Salifou

Not a big loss

Jayson 17-08-2009 12:42 AM

Walcott is only inconsistent due to injuries though, he is quite prone to them.

When he comes on he livens up the team, he is a great player, even though he needs to work on his crossing.

Pienaar Yakubu and Yobo for us

Johann 17-08-2009 12:43 AM

4-3-3 has brought back our lightning quick counter attacking game. Fabregas' first goal yesterday was a trip back to our invincibles team where we would get from side of the pitch to another in a flash. It was a joy to watch. And I agree keith, we closed them down really well. Allowed no time for them to build up moves, something we havent done much the last couple of seasons. It was a brilliant all round team performance - just have to apply the same work rate week in week out.

King Gizzard 17-08-2009 12:44 AM

The best thing about the ACON is the ball http://soccerlens.com/shirts/files/2008/01/acn-ball.jpg

Jayson 17-08-2009 12:44 AM

I think 4-3-3 is our best bet this season.

When Nasri comes back it will be great.

King Gizzard 17-08-2009 12:45 AM

Nasri is a class act

30stone 17-08-2009 12:45 AM

The 4 - 3 - 3 Works.

But i would be worried Chelsea could be good against us on a 4 - 3 - 3

And Walcott yes he livens the team up,

But he loses it as much as bendtner, his final touch is usually bad or mistimed aswell, hes a player whos either really good or just useless..

Yeh think he is quality, and since fabregas will probably leave if we dont win somthing this year..

He would be the perfect man to fill the spot along with wilshire...

Nasri is best in the centre i believe.. Hes a hard worker and he is an amazing player..

I still prefer Walcott to Lennon though. I'm not sure why.

Lovley ball

King Gizzard 17-08-2009 12:49 AM

Lennon > Walcott at the moment

But Walcott is a striker, and thats where he shoud play eventually

Nasri is an attacking midfielder.

And yes, he is one of my favorite Arsenal players, he makes a big impact on games, and is hard working.

Walcott isn't played enough to really be compared with Lennon, but I would rather have Walcott on my right wing than Lennon. I just prefer him.

Lennon impressed me today seemed sharp and that run he did down the right hand side in the second half was amazing

keithafc 17-08-2009 12:57 AM

Walcott lacks the technical skills to be a winger. As he gets older he will go as a striker but again, we will see how he develops. He's an odd one Walcott. I still ain't too sure on his best position.

Edit - I meant Walcott.
