I understand forests frustration, but you can't go around calling someone a cheat in writing. That's just not right and exactly what options do they have? Its a football game, they can't sue, they can't ask for a replay etc etc

I think they will get severe punishment for that statement. Lets be real here, they could get thrown out of the league for saying stuff like that in public.

Personally, i think they should keep goal line technology but suspend var next season while everything about it is reviewed and adjusted appropriately. They also have to have clarity and consistency in all their rules, and stop introducing tweaks every season that just confuse everything. That is at least half of the problem

Regardless of what Forest are saying, the one thing that I personally find suspicious about that match, is for the third penalty the Referee, the Linesman, and VAR all couldn't see Ashley Young had fouled the Forest player in the penalty area? I do find that hard to believe.

Three reasons.

1. They must please Guardiola at all times, so that he stays in the Premier League.

2. Jack Grealish is English, therefore English players never do anything wrong.

3. It's Man City, and the Media and the Football world wants to make them look untouchable, being taken to extra time against an average Chelsea side (no offense intended) kind of kills the illusion of Man City being untouchable.

West Ham will hold talks with Sporting Lisbon head coach Ruben Amorim, 39, as they decide whether or not to extend David Moyes' contract this summer. It is not clear where the Hammers would rank in Amorim's options.

i would like to see any replacement win a european trophy or finish 6/7th in the league.... not as easy as it looks

Swan 23-04-2024 11:40 AM

Chelsea just need to hope Palmer recovers, do our best tonight but accept we'll probably, lose. Then have Palmer fresher for the run in and hope we can finish 6th, which is possible.

Crimson Dynamo 23-04-2024 06:19 PM

Chelsea aren't a dirty team (Caicedo aside, who really isn't much of a player at all), but Jackson was lucky to stay on the pitch.

Crimson Dynamo 23-04-2024 07:50 PM

cracking first half

that was a red card tho

GiRTh 23-04-2024 08:03 PM

Jackson not even booked for a horror challenge but Arteta gets booked for chatting too much. Refs are a joke

I'd say Fernandes and Gallagher are physical players who both put themselves about .. you don't see Odegard or Partey continuously clattering people

Caicedo is just a thug .. one newspaper guy recently said he could make a case for Caicedo getting sent off in every single game for red card offences or persistent fouling

.
