Well done to everyone...
Jamie, it's not the end of the world. There are always resits. Next time you'll smash it. |

Well done everyone who got what they needed. Uni will be amazing.
To those who didn't, don't panic or feel down (easier said than done) but there are plenty of options including clearing. |
I do not miss the stress of school exam results day  at uni you can tell what sort of grade you're in for because of how the course is marked (well, that's how it is for me at any rate) but school you've literally no idea because it all rests on the exam...
|
For my AS results I got
A - Sociology B - English Lang & Lit B - Politics C - Psychology I'm happy with my results, I worked really really hard for them. I'm shocked at Psychology though because I revised a LOT for that and actually enjoyed it, never thought I'd end up dropping it #awksitch |
8 AS exams starting a month today /cry
There's way too much to learn, curse the government for removing January exams. :fist: |
I have a project due in week after next that I've had since October.
And I've not even started. :hehe: D: D: D: |
Looking to get D* in my first year of Medical Science :amazed:

Not a good move imo, leaves the inability to resit a Jan exam in June and like you said, thats a hell of a lot of content to learn for 1 exam period! |
Quote:
No more January exams so we have two exams for all four subjects in May, and any resists have to be done next June on top of all the A2 exams in each subject. It's really frustrating but I'm just happy I wasn't born two years later because from September 2015 they're going linear with them all being at the end of A2 with no more AS exams. D: |

I know so many people in that situation, thankfully I don't have to retake anything and since English doesn't require revision I only have two subjects to deal with
I don't think I'm ready for uni though, I'm not comfortable with the idea that after three years it's time for the real world . It's way too soon :/ I think I really just need an extra year, not a gap year as I'd hate one whole year of doing nothing, an extra year of college. So yeah in the back of my mind I'm secretly hoping to fail.. lol |
You can take a gap year and travel, that is not doing nothing.
