Max an Paddy's Road to Nowhere, it's a tv comedy series on Channel 4. Never watched it, personally....

I've never watched it either, but I did watch Phoenix Nights, which I think it is a spin off from. I really like Peter Kay, so I should watch Max and Paddy.

lily. 03-10-2005 02:39 PM

Max and Paddy is quality. If you like Peter Kay, you will love it. Patrick McGuinness is hilarious also. I wasn't sure if it would be my cup of tea when it first came out, so I didn't bother, but when they did the re-runs on E4, I watched it and absolutely oved it! I would recommend it Ruth.

So, what we all up to today.. I see some of my favourite FMs are on. I'm on the jobcentre website and I got bored, so I figured I would drop in to chat to ya all.

Fine thanks Stropzy.... got that typical monday feeling http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/m...aurig/a045.gif

So are you looking for a job then???

lily. 03-10-2005 02:46 PM

Well, hubby is looking for another job, cuz his job security is an issue at the moment. Too much talk about the firm shutting down. So, he is looking for something that he wont have to worry about not having at xmas! And, I'm looking for something part-time. First I wanna get his sorted out. He has applied for 6 this morning. Then once I know what hours he is working, I can figure out something so that I wont have to rely on babysitters too much.

BigSister 03-10-2005 02:47 PM

im miffed because I go and print my work out no black ink!

~Kizwiz~ 03-10-2005 02:49 PM

Good plan.... my hubby when though something similar. His company got taken over by Britannia and he wasnt sure if he would keep his job, be moved to Shropshire, or get paid off..... luckly he's kept it and stayed put. There was no way I would move from Bristol!

Once you are happy where you live, you don't want to move. I agree. Thing is, I suppose we would have better prospects if we lived elsewhere, but we are happy here, and don't want to move. I just hate when you don't know what's happening. In a way it's better if you at least know for definite that the place is going under, then you can be prepared for it. I hate the sense of doom that hangs over you when you don't know what's happening.

As we say up here... "his coat's hanging on a shoogly nail!"

My photo printer did that to me yesterday... i went to print a pic and it come out all red
It hadnt run out as I've only just replaced it... so i just kept printing and it cleared... must have got a red bit of ink stuck in the filter

Dont fret.. all will be well. Just explain that its been a cr*p week! Everyone does it! You cant be good all the time or you'll end up hating food!

lily. 03-10-2005 03:03 PM

aye, this is true. Thing is, I get so buzzed when I lose every week.. even when it's just a pound. Then when I get stuck in a rut and stay the same for a wee while, or worse, GAIN, I get so rattled about it!

jrc 03-10-2005 03:07 PM

Weightwatchers? But I saw your pic on the TiBB pictures thread? Fair enough, I couldn't see much of you, but you certainly didn't look like you needed to watch your weight! Either way, just try to feel good about yourself. :wavey:

~Kizwiz~ 03-10-2005 03:07 PM

You'll find that.... you lose a few and then either stick or gain... it's very frustrating!

~Kizwiz~ 03-10-2005 03:14 PM

Right... am off to cook dinner.....
Laters peeps :xyxwave:

jrc 03-10-2005 03:17 PM

BigSister 03-10-2005 03:19 PM
