Aww thanks:blush:. I'm friends with a City fan on Twitter and managed to tweet a dignifed in defeat message:):D.

bbfan1991 23-10-2011 04:02 PM

How Kun United got thrashed:(.

Grimnir 23-10-2011 04:09 PM

look at it this way

IF city do now go on and win the league, how will united react? answer = same as they always do, just like after arsenal won it, chelski won it and even blackburn won it :joker:

BUT if city fail YET again, even after their great start and big win over us and united recover and snatch yet another title from under their noses, how will city react? :joker:

Brother Leon 23-10-2011 04:14 PM

I feel so dirty.

I felt for Wellbeck tbh. The boy has alot of heart...He has a bright future.

Grimnir 23-10-2011 04:25 PM

Head to Head

United won 67
City won 44
50 draws

Biggest win
City 6-1
United 5-0

League Titles
United 19
City 2

FA Cups
United 11
City 5

European Cups
United 3
City 0

League Cups
United 4
City 2

United's proudest moment = 19 League Titles

City's proudest moment = a 6-1 win over United

THAT is the difference between us :xyxwave:

It's been coming since the Chavski game and i hope Fergie takes FULL responsibility for the lose. Everyone has known our Midfield for the last 3 YEARS has been one of the poorest in both europe and England yet he brought no one in the summer to solve the problem. Snjider , De Rossi were all turned down for no reason

Also we have players such as Pogba and Morrisson who are 20x the players that our current crop are yet get no game time

Legend killer 23-10-2011 09:16 PM

Also Phelan needs to go he is your typical YES man which is not good for Fergie as being totally honest Fergie is pretty average when it comes to tactical cuteness. We need someone along the lines of the great Carlos Q

I also hope to see United refunding the tickets of the United faithful who went to the game

What more so than Rome and Wembley last year. I would agree with you if we actually had a decent dm ala Fletch in 09 but with the poor crop with currently have it would do more harm than good

That 6-1 yesterday might occur again without a defensive midfielder against the best team on the planet.

Regarding yesterday, the sooner that prophet sets another date for the world to end the better.

Edit: Legend Killer, there was a reason for Sniejder not arriving. Inter made it clear that they'd let either Eto'o or Sneijder go, due to wanting the wage bill to come down. They got rid of Eto'o which crippled any move for Sneijder. Add to this that, like I believed all summer, Sneijder wasn't desperate for a move to United. He's happy in Milan.

Legend killer 24-10-2011 04:26 PM

Ryan it was well documented Sniejder was going to cut his wages and come to us for 200 thousand a week BUT Fergie didnt want to break the wage struture and seems to think Fletcher is world class SMH

Also its sad to say but Rio is FINISHED

The sooner Clev gets back the better

That was all rumour. There was a whole bunch of stuff going around during the saga.

Inter only wanted rid of one player. After Eto'o moved that crippled any Sneijder deal. Add to that the fact Sneijder didn't even want to leave.

And I don't think Ferdinand is finished, personally. Remember that the back four has constantly changed all season.

Legend killer 25-10-2011 09:20 PM

PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME A LOGICAL REASON why Ravel and Pogba are not getting mins in our first team they are fuken immense if Fergie is so keen on playing 3 in the middle in europe it should be

POGBA
CLEV RAVEL

Pogba is the best DM we have and Ravel is a fuken monster just need to keep him out of trouble

Legend killer 25-10-2011 09:28 PM

Team i want to see next season

De Gea
Jones Smalling Vidic Fabio
Nani Cleverly Morrison LM who is actually left footed
Rooney
Welbeck

OR

De Gea
Jones Smalling Vidic Fabio
Pogba
Nani Cleverly Morrisson ?????
Rooney

bbfan1991 26-10-2011 09:45 PM

Happy with the win last night. Good team performance and I must say Berbatov and Owen really stood out which must give SAF food for thought.

Nice to see Vidic and Cleverley back, the United midfield has really missed Cleverley and great to see a few younger players given the chance to play:).

Everton away in the league next for United now, which requires an immediate response from last weeks embarrassing scoreline:bawling:.

Grimnir 27-10-2011 08:02 AM

Here is my team and tactics.

4-3-3 formation

Centre backs = Smalling and Vidic.
Fullbacks = Evra and Valencia.
Defensive midfielder = Jones.
Attacking midfielders = Anderson and Cleverley
Forwards = Nani, Rooney, Young

When defending, Anderson and Cleverley drop back, flank Jones on either side and form a mobile defensive line in front of the back four.
Rooney's job is to press and hurry any midfielders who drop deep.
Nani and Young stay up front ready for a quick counter attack, they press the centre backs and any deep lying players.

Once we get the ball we attack.
Rooney sprints straight down the middle looking for space.
Nani and Young are ready to fun down the channels and flanks.
Anderson and Cleverley move forward into central position behind Rooney and try to create chances and keep possession.
If one of the attacking fullbacks decides to make a run forward then the wide forward on his side makes his way into a central position to join Rooney.
For example, Evra breaks down the left. Young would join Rooney and Nani in the box. Anderson and Cleverley are just outside the box.
We can attack and score :elephant:
Whichever fullback goes forward, they are safe in the knowledge that Jones is there to provide the necessary cover.

If we need to make an attacking substitution, we bring on an extra striker for Jones and change to a 4-2-4. :elephant:

bbfan1991 27-10-2011 02:22 PM

Rumours some players who played in the 6-1 defeat will be dropped vs Everton at the weekend. I hope Berbatov is given a start!

Legend killer 28-10-2011 10:04 AM

Young and evra have to be dropped

Legend killer 28-10-2011 10:06 AM

I just wish fergie had the balls he use to in terms of youth players cause pogba ravel and maybe even keane wld have been brought in all ready

Young wasn't too bad against City. He only made some over-hit crosses.

Remember for wingers to play well, they need the ball from the central duo. He and Nani didn't get the service.

And remember, those players you listed above are all young that's why they aren't being chucked in.

Legend killer 28-10-2011 08:09 PM

Ryan they are better MUCH better than what we have shouldnt matter whether there 18 or 40

I don't see how you can deem reserve players, who are yet to play at the highest level, as better than what is currently available.

Carrick does his job, of holding play. He's not meant to do anything more. He does that job extremely well. At one point last season, he had the most interceptions in the whole league (not sure if he still was at the end of the season).

Fletcher is still finding his feet again. He's been out for several months. He was poor last season but, i'm sure he'll get back to how he was before.

Anderson began the season well but, it still seems like his inconsistency is still there.

Cleverley made a bright start to the campaign.

Giggs has barely played but, I still think he can do a good job.

I don't see a whole lot wrong with the midfield at present. It would of been nice to sign Sneijder but, Anderson and Cleverley's development would of been hindered.

Legend killer 29-10-2011 10:22 AM

Cleverly is starting which is good sadly Evans is also starting so we will defo concede one goal

bbfan1991 30-10-2011 12:45 AM

1-0 Glad we got the win but Everton really had a lot of chances and United had a few but other than that we scraped with that performance:).

Vidic was outstanding and woo hoo for Hernandez scoring but i'm glad the injury to Cleverley isn't as bad as first feared and he will be fine for the next Premier League match:)

Evans did well. He's a good defender. Don't forget the 2008/09 season when he stepped in for Ferdinand time and time again, and played brilliantly.

Legend killer 31-10-2011 04:58 PM

Ryan Evans has been ****e for 2 years now. VIDIC carried him through the everton game would much rather we kept big john

bbfan1991 31-10-2011 05:04 PM

Clevs should be back for the game against Sunderland at OT on the weekend.

I'm looking forward to the Otelul Galati game, which we really need to win and this week will be SAF 25th year anniversary of managing United!:thumbs::devil::hugesmile::):D
