Episode 2 was bad, easily the worst episode of the entire show. Brody better have a cool storyline on the run to make up for this mess.

MTVN 12-10-2013 03:23 PM

Not really sure what is going on with this but at least Brody is gonna be back

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 13-10-2013 06:33 PM

so many shows to watch. Ain't nobody got time for that :bawling:

ugh,. i can't stand brody. I think he ruined the second season. he should be locked away in guantanamo like the joker in arkham assylum. he's a terrorist. I'm sick of him. This show is about Carrie and the CIA, not about Brody and his ****ed up stockholm syndrome bull****.

MTVN 14-10-2013 11:27 PM

Third ep was better I thought, made up for the lack of Brody by having most of the episode on him and no Dana which was good

Spoiler:

still all a bit slow mind, I don't really get the main Venezuelan guys motive for keeping him there until he dies really either, espcially seeing as he's prepared to gun down policemen and Imam's to do it. Sorta implied he was doing it for Carrie but then went on about how she wouldn't care about him and how she would never find out about it. The doctor seems sort of interesting though, bound to be something very creepy revealed about him soon

Sort of a spoiler for the next ep from the preview as well I guess:

Spoiler:

glad Carrie will be getting released from the physch ward, bit bored of her just freaking out in there all the time, the thing with this guy who visited her looks like it could be interesting too

lily. 15-10-2013 02:08 PM

Spoiler:

Matt, I'm with you.. I don't understand their reasons for keeping him prisoner there... and I also think the doc has some kind of shady back-story, so that could be interesting.. I wonder who the lawyer was representing.. that was all a bit dodgy as well. Missed Saul/Quinn this episode, but at least we didn't have to endure Dana and her whiny mother..

King Gizzard 15-10-2013 02:20 PM

from hating Quinn when he was first on there he is the best now

Shaun 15-10-2013 03:46 PM

caught up with the first two eps earlier... it's frustrating viewing, but I think the poor reviews might just be petty lashing out at how the story's constricted by the fallout from S2.

I enjoyed them... but the CIA area needs more fleshed-out characters. The new muslim woman seems nice but her speech with the bankers was a bit childish.

Locke. 16-10-2013 10:51 PM

Episode 3 was really good, the Carrie stuff all felt out of place though, the entire episode should have just been Brody's story.

I'm sure I read before the season started that Brody wasn't in the opening 3 episodes, so maybe they swapped some stuff around to have him in earlier after how bad the first 2 episodes were, so it might have been intended to be entirely Brody in the first place

lily. 21-10-2013 08:38 AM

Spoiler:

Well, that was an interesting twist... didn't see that coming

MTVN 21-10-2013 10:51 PM

Spoiler:

The twist just comes out of nowhere and makes no sense, like why would she start crying when she's on her own watching Saul testify on telly, and she wouldn't have acted like she did in the hospital if she knew it was a ruse all along surely.

It's quite an interesting twist which sets things up well but it sorta makes the whole first 4 eps of this season a bit meaningless. I don't know what the point was of having that 3rd ep almost all Brody and then go back to having none of him this ep either

And the Dana storyline taking up so much time is annoying and it's only going to get worse by the look of it

MTVN 28-10-2013 09:35 PM

Spoiler:

Think this season is finally starting to get going now, Saul in this ep :worship:

Annoying that Brody has only been in one episode out of the first 5 though, think I can see where they're going with Dana now as well, she'll end up converting to Islam, probably get radicalised and end up trying to find Brody, would be more interesting than her love story I suppose

lily. 29-10-2013 06:25 PM

Spoiler:

I'm still not sure where the Dana storyline is going, but I'm glad the 'teenage runaways' thing is over.. although, I doubt I was the only one to notice the 'Romeo & Juliet' reference to Claire Danes.. :)

I get what you were saying about her crying on her own, but I think she genuinely stopped her meds, so she'd be acting to a certain extent.. but she does seem like a bit of a mess..

I'm not missing Brody too much cos I don't like the storyline he's getting. It'll be more interesting when he escapes..

Shaun 29-10-2013 06:31 PM

I actually really liked episodes 3 and 4, not sure where this has all come from (the backlash)

but I understand the events of episode 5 are what pissed people off so I shall see...

Locke. 03-11-2013 11:34 PM

Episode 5 was really good, this season finally seems to be taking off.

Locke. 17-11-2013 09:08 PM

Saul locking the new Director in the conference room and turning the lights off :joker:

Shaun 17-11-2013 09:13 PM

last two episodes have been great

Livia 17-11-2013 10:37 PM

I've loved this season from the beginning. Great when you get such a good series that keeps the quality up this way. Missing Brody though...

MTVN 18-11-2013 10:24 PM

Amazing last episode (US pace)

Spoiler:

Quinn actually taking down Carrie :worship: about time she wasnt allowed to go through with one of her own silly little adventures against her orders. Feel like this series has sort of ruined her a bit by having her bipolar go a bit too wild and now this whole pregnancy thing, hope the baby doesn't survive somehow

Didn't see the last scene coming at all either, was wondering where they were gonna go with Brody but didnt expect Saul to suddenly rock up. Set up now to be a really good end to the season

Locke. 19-11-2013 10:12 PM

Most recent ep in US spoilers

Spoiler:

Quinn shooting Carrie and Saul getting Brody, great episode.

Be interesting to see what Saul's plan is in the long run, guessing it wasn't Carrie that knew the guys who had Brody in the tower but it was Saul all along. Kind of wish the viewers would know the main characters plans all along but I suppose it's more interesting if we find out at the same time as other characters.

Novo 19-11-2013 10:14 PM

has Inigo died yet? has Agent Brody followed in Leonardo's footsteps and sealed the deal with Claire Danes? fill me in.

Locke. 19-11-2013 10:17 PM

Inigo has been the main character this season and Brody has impregnated Claire Danes

Shaun 24-11-2013 10:49 PM

last week's episode (US pace) :worship:

Spoiler:

Carrie getting shot. So ****ing deserved. Such a dick.

Also really liking the increased time given to Saul's wife... she was a bit of a spare part in the first two seasons.

Iceman 24-11-2013 11:17 PM

Its building to a great season finale...oh cant wait for next episode the trailer looks brilliant...

lily. 25-11-2013 08:50 PM

Spoiler:

This week was brilliant.. I'm really not hugely invested in the Carrie/Brody relationship though.. I'm hoping the baby doesn't make it either.. it's ruining my Carrie/Quinn hopes.. I wonder if Saul will tell Mira about her loverboy and his true intentions.. :/
