Cech is getting on and their back ups like 40 so they are going to need a new keeper next season/season after and instead of splashing out £15m+ they've already got the perfect replacement already.

They'll have Cech for another season at least, and I can't see Courtois taking kindly to a 3rd season out on loan, especially on the same contract and wages of his first deal, unless they give him a new contract
