I've started to watch series 1 again and it's surprised me how aggressive the walkers are......they can run/climb/smash rocks against glass windows, as the series' have gone on the walkers have become slow/less intense, now they just paw at windows:laugh:

Thats a pretty good point, they do seem more tame than they did in the first couple of series. They were bashing down doors and they seemed to be a lot more quicker & aggressive.

I'm quite enjoying watching series 1 again, it's great to see how the characters have all evolved.

How much of an ass Daryl was, how mousy Carol was, how young they all look:laugh:

How long do you think the vicar will last in this current series?

I give him til the end of the series.

I think they're trying to make the walkers' decomposition a lot more realistic. Notice how in the first two seasons, besides the city walkers and up until the hoard stormed the farm, the walkers never traveled in groups either. I think they're just showing how walkers are adapting to everything.

Possible Spoiler for the next episode.

Spoiler:

No. I think she's been kidnapped and is with Beth in the hospital now.

BBfanUSA 31-10-2014 10:24 PM

Carol better not be dead.

Wouldn't it stand to reason that they would get weak as time goes on, because at first they would be eating all the time, and now that there are more walkers than humans they won't get to eat as often..

In theory a Apocalypse wouldn't last a year due to that reason and the fact they would all pretty much die in the Winter. But that wouldn't be any fun of course

lily. 31-10-2014 11:49 PM

Yeah, we aren't here for the reality.. this is television, people! lol

Yeah, i guess there are a lot of reasons why they could be less aggressive and slower now.. this is probably the most obvious. That walker earlier on in the series which smashed down the bathroom door in that caravan they had >>>

The start of season one was set only 60 days after the outbreak, so the dead would be a lot stronger and more aggressive.

As the seasons have gone by.. the dead have become milder and the people have become more psychotic lol

Drew. 01-11-2014 12:10 AM

Think it might be time to re watch the first couple of seasons, remind myself what it was like.

lily. 01-11-2014 12:19 AM

I only started watching it this year, so I got to marathon through four seasons.

lily. 02-11-2014 11:13 PM

New episode tonight....

I'm missing it due to studying.

But last week's ep was pretty good I gotta say.

Spoiler:

Loving the Beth storyline... it was a nice change from the group story.. and that ending... OMG... haha.. Carol is gonna tear that place apart! I kinda hope Noah gets to be with Beth and the others though.. I like him. Can't wait to see Dawn get eaten though.. she deserves it.

Amy Jade 03-11-2014 08:43 PM

I love this storyline, solidifying my love for Beth :flutter:

Brother Leon 03-11-2014 09:18 PM

I don't think Dawn is really a villain though. She's just a woman out of her depth and trying to cling on to false hope and some form of a system in a ****ed up world. The male cop was annoying as **** though.
