Great episode

Spoiler:

Didn't think they'd kill off Wes

iloveaisleyne 18-11-2016 07:30 PM

WATCH 3X09 BEFORE CLICKING THE SPOILER

Spoiler:

I'm happy Frank isnt UTS and also omg @ wes already being dead before the fire..did frank hit him with the trophy Annalise left on the floor? Did he kill himself? What are they going to do regarding Rebeccas death? SO MANY QUESTIONS

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 18-11-2016 09:15 PM

Spoiler:

People think he's not really dead. They think Frank or Nate helped him somehow. They talk about how he cut a deal with the DA and they they didn't show what happened after that. He fired his Lawyer etc. Hm

Marsh. 18-11-2016 10:14 PM

oMFG they actually killed him off? :o  :o

Marsh. 18-11-2016 10:18 PM

Not here for random stuff like Bonnie and Annalise kissing.

IKR! :joker: That was just strange.

Only just realised this returns tonight.

I got caught up with the current season a few days ago. I love that they went with a big death with Wes. I spoiled it for myself a while ago so obviously it wasn't a shock when watching it but I was massively surprised when I first heard, always had him and Annalise pegged as safe for the entire show

Here for Meggy being the killer and going all Fatal Attraction on Wes and Laurel.

Marsh. 26-01-2017 10:22 PM

I hope it's not that irrelevant waste of space.

I gave up at the end of season 2

Is 3 any good?

Marsh. 26-01-2017 10:37 PM

I enjoyed season 2, why would you give up? Idiotic bitch.

Season 3 has been great.

Lostie! 26-01-2017 10:40 PM

I've enjoyed season 3 so far and the mid-season finale made me really excited for the rest but there are some elements I just don't care about (Frank, this awful Michaela and Asher thing, Connor and Oliver's never-ending relationship drama).

Headie 26-01-2017 10:42 PM

So excited for this ep :clap1:

I gave up on literally every single TV show I watched tbh

Just caught up with the first half of season 3. and it has been amazing.

Shocked at the death though but he was a basic character so i'm not really bothered about them going.

Headie 28-01-2017 10:51 PM

L. Scott Caldwell being one of Annaliese's fellow inmates <3

Giving me Rose flashbacks from Lost

Oh that's where I know her from!

Omg I literally have the whole second half of the season to catch up on. A binge watch today. :flutter:

Cal. 10-03-2017 09:18 AM

Or maybe not. All my links are dead.

Lostie! 10-03-2017 12:27 PM

I fell behind on the last few episodes but I read about the resolution to the Wes mystery and it sounds really anticlimactic. I'd been losing motivation to keep up with the show anyway, might still catch up before season 4 but not sure if I'll be bothered enough in the end.

Cal. 10-03-2017 12:46 PM

I kind of sensed that

Spoiler:

it'd be someone we hadn't been introduced to before his death.

Spoiler:

Thing is, I HATE that in murder mysteries  And with Lila and Rebecca's deaths, both times it was someone we knew from the start so I gave them credit that they wouldn't suddenly pull a "oh it was this guy you met one episode ago" on us (even if on the orders of someone we knew). I think what makes it worse is that Wes was such a pivotal character death and having the resolution be so shoddy feels extra underwhelming.

To be honest I most likely will catch up closer to season 4 starting because season 1 was still brilliant (2 was really good too) and Annalise and Bonnie are two of my favourite characters on TV at the moment. But if it introduces another big mystery and then burns me with another cop out like this next season, I'll be out. :ninja2:

Spoiler:

I hate it as well. It feels like such a waste of time since you could have just started watching the story line on the episode of the reveal and not have missed anything. I remember Doctors did a stalking story line a few years ago over the summer and I was really invested in that - and then they actually only introduced the stalker in the climax episode of the story line so I could have just tuned in to that one episode and not have missed anything.

I like it when murder mysteries set up a list of suspects and establish the characters/their motives and then slowly eliminate them until the reveal. It feels shoddy as you say when they just set up a mystery with no particular suspects and then reveal it to be some random non-established character with a motive that you wouldn't have guessed until they actually show you the flashback. They got Lila and Rebecca's mysteries completely right - they've gotten the fire and Wes mysteries completely wrong from what I've seen.

Cal. 10-03-2017 01:13 PM

Spoiler:

Shows should either do a mystery where they introduce to us a group of suspects, establish them and slowly eliminate them until there's one remaining and is revealed to be the killer (ala Broadchurch except it didn't eliminate anyone until the reveal) or show us exactly what's going on with no mystery element (ala Happy Valley). Trying to mix the two or throwing out a random reveal from no where is crap.

Marsh. 10-03-2017 02:28 PM

I completely forgot all about this show. Got to catch up on the last 4 episodes.
